Milk alternative? Rice milk for under 1yo?

My DS2 early weaned and had a milk intolerance. We used Soy Milk. He wouldn't take soy formula and couldn't tolerate other formulas so Soy Milk it was.
He is fine now and grew out of the Dairy Intolerance.
