My twins have always been wonderful eaters. I have always cooked all of their food myself and they have always eaten everything I have put in front of them. I thought I was lucky to have good eaters. But about a week or so ago my DS started not wanting to eat. He is upset as soon as you put him in his high chair and I am not sure what to do.
I thought he perhaps wanted to be a bit independant because he was grabbing at the spoon so I have been giving him a spoon or fork so he can do a bit of feeding himself but that hasn't worked and I don't know what is wrong. He is getting so upset.
The other tricky thing is that his twin sister still is eating (thank goodnes it is only one of them) and I don't want to be offering DS too many different things to eat because I don't want DD to then think she can be fussy to get something different to eat
This morning was the first time I have really said breakfast is finished now for DS when he was getting upset and got him out of his highchair and I haven't given him anything else other than water in the hope he might want to eat at morning tea.
Does anyone have any coping tips to share? I have been trying to make it fun and positive and clapping etc when he eats but I am starting to get a little stressed at all the crying.
