Starting solids - spewed after feed

Tristan has reflux anyway, so spewing after a feed is nothing new. We have been trying out solids, today was our second attempt as he is showing more interest in food. My CHN told me to try making the solids a bit thicker, but I'm thinking maybe I made them too thick? He's definately interested in taking food from the spoon and was doing really well until he started gagging and vomited up his food. You could clearly see the three little spoonfuls he had.
Too thick or still not quite ready? Whats your thoughts?

If he's gagging on it, hes probably still not ready no matter what consistency you make it. Or possibly he has a very strong gag reflex and just needs a bit of practice to get used to swallowing food and not liquid all the time. If you want to wait or keep going that's up to you hun.

It is still early days, and I'm certainly in no rush... might give him another week and then see what happens Thanks!
