Hi Cheryle,
Welcome, and thanks for dropping in :D Congratulations on your daughter :)
Welcome Cheryle :D
Congratulations! and GL with the birth i hope all goes well and you have a great experience :)
Hi Cheryle and welcome :D
Good luck with the birth of your daughter
Hey Cheryle,
It's kinda exciting that you know exactly when your baby girl will be here!! I wish I could know when bubba boy would show his beautiful face! Then I might be a little more ready...
How are you all going? I hope that everything is going smoothly for you all! How is the renting situation going Ash?
Welcome Cheryle! Good luck with the birth and hopefully you sort out what you want from your partner soon. Sometimes its better to leave before it gets messy with fighting. I can tell you that! We still have to have big discussions but we only broke up last week. But I'm doing fine. And you will too. Katnap and some of the others here are so helpful, so you'll be well looked after!
Welcome Cheryle, good to have another young mum on board =D !!!
Hi and hope everyone else is keeping well, i've been a bit scarce of late....
Nina - renting is still a pain, we looked at three places this morning though so that's a step at least. First real estate agency to actually make a time to suit us for inspection, so that's a bonus...
now just to get all the different info this compnay wants... why can't they make the required info universal, so to speak? would make things so much easier...
not much else is news, im a bit of a wreck, but im betting that's third trimester blues... wooohooo. i want it to be over already!
Ash, How is "jellybean" progressing? Did you end up finding out what you are having? You must be getting excited, not long to go now!! :D
WOW Ash, I remember looking at how pregnant you were when you were 19 weeks and I was 16....now your 28 and I'm 25 tomorrow! How time flys!
Well at leasr that is a step in the right direction with the renting situation. Fingers crossed for you guys. You'll get a place soon....I can feel it.
It's sooo cool that we all kept this thread going and that there is other young mummys and mummys to be joining all the time.
Hope eveyone is going well. It is so hot here at the moment. Can't wait till next Friday when We fly out of here for Christmas holidays....some relief from the humidity. It is 85% on a GOOD day! Sydney here we come!
Hey Nina what part of Darwin do you live we have had 3 posting to there so have lived on larrakeyah, the RAAF Base then the last time we lived in Rosebery. Darwins a funny place I alway want to get out of there when I'm living there but as soon as we do we want to go back. I think I just miss small thing like mindle beach night market and eating barr and chips at the warft(sp?) life seems simple there. its a shame it just so expencive to live there and the cost of comming home is too great now that we wouldnt have rllt to reliy on.
Hey Tali,
We live in Bakewell. Yes, Darwin IS a funny place. I have been here for 11yrs and am soooooo over it. Joel got a posting to 2CER in Brisbane so we will be moving there in January. Can't wait for that either.
Yeah I wil miss things like the Barra too. I LOVE Barramundi. I like Mindil for the food but can't stand the fact that everyone pushes their way around and that mothers with prams EXPECT you to move out of the way for them when you were there first....lol that seems to happen to me alot. I find the people here really rude and obnoxious. Not to mention shocking drivers. Everyone does atleast 20 over the speed limit and if you don't drive like them...they let you know about it. Oooops...I think you've opened up a can of worms..... ;)
Nina, I feel the same way. That's why I won't get my licence, I'm terrified of Sydney drivers. One day I'll drive but I can't panic at the wheel so I won't yet.
Hey Sally, jellybean is great, thanks for asking. We did find out, we're having a boy, they say 95%, but everything was on display ' loud and clear' made daddy quite proud. LOL! I'm very excited, but also of course leading up to the idea of birth i'm becoming more and more terrified, seems the third tri hormones have kicked their way in despite my best attempts as well. I'm pretty much a mess all the time - which is annoying me greatly!!! Thank goodness for downtime on public transport // im sorry to all those people that watch me in fits of tears for no reason!! Haha!!!
Nina, i know what you mean, it really seems like yesterday... so close now... Midwife advised to be prepared to go at 36 weeks as early tends to run in the family, so i guess that's something i might need to keep in mind. Although my mum has tiny hips and mine are twice the size, so who knows, either way i'm just hoping the summer flies by! Thanks for your encouragement re: the rental situation, fingers crossed we get somewhere soon, it would take a lot of our minds...
Hope everyone else is doing well, as i said i seem to have the third trimester blues and a bit of morning sickness again but apart from that im slowly just waiting to get fat!!
Ash, I have those lovely wide pelvis/hip bones that made giving birth not painless by not too difficult and my reward: not finding pants that fit right. Yay :(.
nina - yes the worms are open lol
the driver do drive fast but they are heaps better than over here where they dont let you in or know where there going.
I did notice last time we lived there that darwin was look old and tired they really do need to fix it up a bit. how the water frount project going have they done much or are they doing it in Darwin time?
well better go DH is home today so better spend some time with him...
