SO true about moving being the thing that gets people UTD, especially when trying!!

Called our families yesterday, all very happy! Mum is definitely coming up here so she is here when bub is born.

We have decided we have to get a credit card to get the things that the army will reimburse, like flights for us to go home for Christmas.

I have to go birthday shopping this week. DH turns 23 next week. planning to get him a golf club, he can practice on the Cane Toads

You know how Pg is meant to be harder when you are older? Well, my pevis is ALREADY starting to feel bruised so I think I will have to pull out my support belt really early this time!

Hi everyone, I haven't been in for a while, I find it so hard to keep up now that there is so many of us. I also have a lot of things going on and am taking my time to deal with them slowly. Life is far from easy at the moment, so I'll try not to be a wet blanket when I pop in.

To all the new people, Hello I am Ash. I am 21 and have almost 8 month old Alexander. It was my awesome idea to get this thread started, ! I have twin sisters that are only 8 weeks older than my DS, and the journey of parenting with my mum has been interesting, to say the least. With her having twins and running two businesses, and my IL's living 900km away, it is needless to say I have, essentially zero support.
I moved back to Geelong to be close to my family so "people could help me" which doesn't happen and now I am isolated from all my good friends in Melbourne and I am really struggling to keep my head above water. I am the queen of mantras at the moment, and as they say; this too shall pass.
One of my very good bestest friends, is someone I have not known very long and that I met through BellyBelly, so I can guarantee you that it can be a complete lifeline to you if that's what you need it to be!

Look forward to catching up with the oldies, and getting to know the newbies a little better.

Melbournians, I am looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday! I cannot wait!!

Ash- Hope you are doing ok, cant wait til thursday so i can finally meet ya.

Taegz- I am taking lys to the doc tomorrow, she seems fine now, but better to be safe than sorry. LOL at scrubbing your bathroom for 2.5hrs. I spent an hour in mine this morn. Lys was feelign better so i actually did all the housework. 5 loads of washing, vacumed and mopped and scrubbed the whole bathroom (incl the walls and the toilet...eww) Now my feet are sore though.

Lys is whinging at me for afternoon tea and to help her on the wii, so i better be off.

    Hey everyone!
Aiden and I had a big day of formal shopping *shudders* My best friends are having their formal this saturday and we just HAD to go along apparently. Who knew it took half an hour to find the perfect formal underwear?? So glad I didn't have a formal now.
On the upside I got to get Aiden heaps of new clothes on sale and hairdye for myself. Im sick of looking like a skunk Just a question how many naps do your little ones have?

Rhyb - at 4 months the girls were having about 2 naps per day from memory. They now have 1 each if I am lucky, or Em has 1 and Sarah watches Dorothy quietly or plays quietly in her room.

Good morning girls (Afternoon for most of you!)

sorry for lack of personals, i'm quite sick atm, stupid flu!

RE naps, Brendan just about always slept until he was about 6 months old even now at 19.5 months he still has 2 naps, if I let him 3 naps day.

I've uploaded some pics to my gallery of Brendan with his Prem Doll. The doll cost me a fair bit but so worth it. It shows just how little he was. It's made to his birth measurements of 1545gms (3lb 6oz) 40.5cm long and a HC of 28cms.

Hope you all have a good day.

    Hello heidi_jeschke and welcome.

I can't remember Alyssa's naps but she def doesnt have one anymore, lol. Even though some days i wish she would so i could.hehe

Taegz- i know i should be resting but my bathroom was so gross and trav is both hopeless and useless when it comes to that stuff, his version of cleaning would be wiping it quickly. lol. Good that i got it done though, now i can sit back and relax.

Allioops- GL with the scan, how many eh?? maybe more than one, thats a scary thought, one is so enough for me at a time, although ppl who have twins say its easier with two.

Trini- Yay, not long to go for either of us, how you doing/feeling?

Hollye- Hope you feel better, would be nice is bubs decided to come early, she is technically considered full term. GL and i'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Sally- The flu sucks, i hope you feel better soon, how cute, a life size premy doll, its bigger than i thought but still so small.

Alyssa is being a ferrel atm, im ignoring her, she was sick again last night and cried for over an hour cause her tummy was sore, it broke my heart and the panadol wasnt helping. She's all better now though, back to her lil devil of a self. lol.

Well my ribs are sore, Charli thinking they make a nice kick toy so im gonna go lye down and watch some tv.
Enjoy the rest of your day ladies.

Taegan, Douglas is right near the huge barracks up here. We are on the other side of Townsville, which is only 20 minute drive from the barracks (they have decent speed limits up here! only the backstreets are 50!)

Bloods all done, waiting for DH to get home so I know when he is available to be there for the girls while I have the scan. Follow up appointment booked with the Dr too!

Fraternal twins (the ones that are influenced by the mother) havent skipped a generation in my family for hundreds of years so that is why we need to check how many are there.

Kirra - yeah i am good but my BH have been shocking lately & nothing is helping them or making them go away..they come at the worst times & stay forever i have also been having back pain which is a pain in the a$$ but it only comes & goes! besides that everything is good i cant believe how quick it has all gone!

Sal - i hope you recover from the flu really quick as i know how sucky it can be *hugs*

Holly - i hope bubs comes soon so you can meet her & give her a massive hug

Ali - good luck with your test results

not much is happening here..DF is on his way to QLD now so i should hear from him soon my little brother is going to stay with me & keep me company which will be good as i dont like the idea of being home alone in our new house as im not used to it just yet! slowly unpacking everything but still loads to do but we need to find some wardrobes as we didnt realise the house didnt come with any when we applied for it but thats not a huge deal to us
