Well, at 13 days before the wedding we got hit with some huge news. DFs nanna and grandad were visiting family down south in Esperance (google it if you don't know where it is) and apparently DFs nanna just passed away in the living room. Dr ruled it as a heart attack but looking like the first 10 days in January 09 are going to be the busiest ever.
Jan 1-4 - Working (and AF due on the 4th of Jan though that I'll get a BFP instead)
Jan 5 - Taking my dad out for the whole day (so he can see where we are getting married, and our house as it's being built)
    Jan 6 - FIL bday
Jan 7 - DFs nannas funeral
    Jan 8 - Wedding rehearsal
Jan 9 - Hens (and bucks) night
Jan 10 - Wedding and Reception
Jan 11 - 17 - Honeymoon (finally some relax time)
Jan 18 - End of Annual leave at work
Jan 19 - Back to work

Sorry to hear of DF's nanna Liz. OMG its getting so close, have you got everything organised? any last minute things you still have to do?
My sis just announced last week shes getting married next yr in october, im gonna be a bridesmaid again. yay. Any tips for me and her?

Monica- Some ppl aren't supportive of a big family but if you think you'll be able to cope and support a big family go ahead, its your right to have as many as you want. I love my big family although i dont talk to some of them. I am happy with two and 3 would be my absolute max but its cause i am not patient enough to have alot of kids. lol and we wanna buy a house so we're stopping at 2 until we have our house and then maybe we'll re-evaulate having another cause we do want a lil boy.

mummymoni and Kirra - Thanks guys

Kirra - My suggestion in regards of being a bridesmaid, help as much as you can. My bridesmaids/maids of honor (i didn't wanna label them so just keeping with the Bridesmaids of Honor title :P) have helped out with absolutely NOTHING from them. Understandable that one of my girls was expecting her 2nd child and had also lost her mum to cancer, so I forgave her, but she's trying her hardest to get things done and help me as much as possible for the hens night stuff!
For her, when she's planning things, plan it out over time. For example, she has a few ideas on different places for dresses (for her and her girls) Spend one month sorting that stuff out. Like the first two weeks of the month going and trying the dresses on, then the next week of the month finialising the one she wants and then paying the deposit the last week. But I did it that way because that was how I could do it with working full time. I hope you understand what I mean!
As for being a bridesmaid, I can't stress how much help she'll need, so that's what i think you should do. If she can't find the time to organise flowers, find some types she'd like and suggest them to her. Find a few local florists for her to choose from. She doesn't necessarily HAVE to use the ones you picked out, but it's the fact that you've helped out and that's what I'm sure she'll appreciate.

AFM - Everything is organised! Flowers paid for a few weeks ago by the ILs as one of their present to us, my dad paid for catering (which was going to be the biggest killer) honeymoon booked (and discount taken in thanks to work! A $325p/n room for $81p/n is just awesome!) Cake is the only thing that's really up in the air at the moment because DFs aunty (married to his mums brother) is coming down really early because of the funeral, we dunno how everything is going to go with that. But I'm sure it'll be fine. Dresses picked up today (and I will make sure there are plenty of photos), two days off of work and basically just relaxing until the hectic week that is next week.
On the TTC front, I'm 9DPO today and I've been getting the weirdest cramps on the right hand side since 7DPO. And usually by this time I'm getting AF cramps and I start farting alot (sorry for the TMI) which means I know they'll be here soon) and I've not got either. AF is supposed to arrive on the 4th of Jan, but I'm testing 10DPO (which is tomorrow) so I'll see if it's a BFN or BFP then.. and if it's -ative, just hoping I'm too early!
    I'll stop babbling now

I hope you get your BFP tomorrow Liz, would be a great wedding present.
Thanks for all the tips, having a newborn makes it challenging but i'm really excited to help her, i also told her she can dress me in whatever she likes, if she wants a bright yellow dress with pink polkadots and a huge bow with shoudler pads i'll wear it, not that she would have such a hidious dress. lol. but unlike her other two bridesmaids im not fussed on what i wear its her big day not mine. They told her no polkadots, no bows, no shoulder pads and the other said she will not wear red or green, geez i thought it was an honour to be asked.

Charli had her MCHN app on monday arvo and shes growing well, the MCHN says i should be very proud, she's very advanced for her age already. hehe, i think trav and i just breed lil smarty pants. Although she is only puting on 90g a week and the health nurse says they like them to put on 150g a week so maybe give her a couple of extra feeds or something.
Alyssa starts kinder next year i'm really excited for her but at the same time so sad my baby is growin so quickly. We went to the zoo yesterday and she absolutely loved it, she took her camera she got for xmas and was taking photo's of the kangaroo's and what not. so cute.

I better go charli is starting to crack it at me. lol.

Happy new years to everyone and i hope you have a great night. (i'm sleeping. lol)

Liz, I'm so sorry to hear of your DF's Nana How exciting about your wedding though only 1 week and 1 day!! I hope you get your BFP.

Monika, depending on how this pregnancy goes we will probably only have 2. My mum is from a large family, DP's side havent had a large family (4+ kids) for about 5 generations.

I'm so tired and hot It was 42.5 at 5pm today so hot... I'm melting!
