alioops how very exciting.....just wondering if you have any advice for when you first started gettinng spd in how to make it get worse slower if that makes sense...i had it with my last two aswell but im already getting sore to walk and put pants and shoes on etc...i convinced dh to stay for an extra 2 weeks to help me get sorted but i might have to tell him to stay if it gets worse....
stayed out last night til midnight havent dont that in ages its a once every year occurance lol but i was the singstar champ...however i was the only sober adult there....
also they were all trying to give him a lecture but he still wont change his mind
-
If you have a support belt - Put it on. Get a physio referral and try to rest as much as possible. No lifting (yeah right, like you can really avoid it with toddlers )!
-
GL Allioops, not that u'll need it :)
Heavenly- congrats on being the singstar champ, i think i'd break windows with my voice. haha
-
Alioops- omg im so excited for you! just think tomorrow night there could be some news!

Trini - Had been wondering where you got to!! How is Alexys going?
-
Aww congrats, thats so awesome.
Alyssa's concert was AWESOME, she was so beautiful and she did sooo well, not being bias cause im her mum but she was the best in her group :)
-
Congrats, Sally and Alioops!! Hope everyone is well, I'll have to go check out the BAs now and get the details :) Jobs well done, I'm sure.
Sorry I haven't been around much, Hayley has decided to start taking up all my time, as newborns do lol - I forgot how easy the first week or two are, then they start in with the constant needing stuff lol :) And Emily has been playing up, the little wretch... DH and I have had the flu this week and Emily has been upset because we're too miserable to deal with her, I spent most of yesterday yelling myself hoarse at her because she just wouldn't behave... thankfully my parents dropped by on their way to the Mt Larcom show so they took her and kept her overnight so DH and I could rest... ha! Hayley chose last night to either start a growth spurt, or just start feeding constantly... my boobs dried up completely and she was still yowling for more. I had to jump in the shower with her at around midnight because she popped and peed all over both of us while I was changing her nappy, DH wasn't happy because he wanted to go to bed... then she was waking every two hours during the night, usually she sleeps through or I wake her once or twice... so, I'm relieved that she's being 'normal' now and waking herself, but sheesh, just ONE night of sleep to help me get over this flu would have been nice!
*sigh* lol, but I feel MUCH better today, DH has taken Emily to the carwash with him so I can get some laundry done without her under my feet :)
How is everyone else going?? Lauren, how are you feeling now that LJ has gone home? I hope you're okay, I know you're feeling really down about Beau moving away for work... I think there is a thread somewhere for the members who have partners who work away, maybe you can get some tips there on ways to cope with things? Let me know if there's anything I can do for you, what a rough patch you're going through at the moment hun... *big hugs*
Welcome, Trini :) The time does go sooo fast, doesn't it?? You blink and they're off to kindy, go to sleep and when you wake up they're in high school lol... it's unbelievable.
Anyways, better stop here because Hayley's having a quiet whinge on the couch, and I have a basket of washing to fold up and put away :D It never stops!!
-
Im bored. And Back!
I finally remembered my login lol!!
Coopers playing, being very noisy in his toy car!
How is everyone?? I will have to do a bit of reading in a minute!
xox
-
WB Banx, long time no see or speak, cooper is 1 in just a couple of months. Where did time go???
My poor baby is sick :( Alyssa that is, i think she may have tonsilitis. Better go tend to her, i love how they NEED their MUMMY when they r sick, its so nice :)
-
WB banx!
Kirra- hope Alyssa gets better soon. its no fun with tonsilitis.
my doctor has really been annoying me. ive been having braxton hicks contractions for a couple of weeks and he told me it wasnt at all possible but i asked a couple of the girls at mums group and they said they all had them at about the same time i did. and when i said i felt the baby move he said it wasnt possible. and he doesnt check my blood pressure or my urine or feel for the baby or listen to the heartbeat. he wants me to go to bunbury (1 hour from where we live) and have a c section. when i want to go to busselton (20 mins from where we live) and have a vbac if possible. and said i didnt even need to worry about booing into the hosp until 3 weeks before my due date.
so he other day i was having really bad tummy cramps and didnt want to see him coz he would tell me i was being silly so i went to the emergency dep in busso. they couldnt beleive he hadnt referred me onto an obstetrician yet and how he wasnt doing anything correctly. and said the reason he wants me to go to bunbury is because he got banned from busselton hospital!
i am so angry that i was screwed around. so the lovely nurse at the hospital gave me a list of all the obs in my area so now i can get myself organised.
any way thats my little vent.
were up in perth this weekend for my nannas birthday. but other wise nothing interesting really happening here.
hope you are all well. xxx
-
oh amy that is so sucky,im sorry u got such a crappy dr....i only just did my referral a couple days ago lol...who has the time hahaha
Good luck finding a great ob,have you thought of any key uestions to ask so u get one that will support ur choices the most
-
heavenly- nah i havent thought of any questions but i spose will be asking if he supports VBAC. that is the most importnat thing for me atm. then i spose there will be other things, but thanks for gtting me thinking. i do need to think of some good questions lol.
how is everything with you? is DP still living at home? i hope for your sake he has come around and decided he cant live with out you.
-

-
Hey ladies
we are all so quiet!
well only news i have is we got a :bfp: today
how is everyone else?
heavenly- Oh my your little man is growing up! but what a lovley age.
-
Yay lots of stickyvibes for you!!!!!!
-
AAAAAAAAAIIIIEEE!! OMG! Lauren that is FANTASTIC!!!! Oh, congrats to you and Beau, sending heaps of sticky vibes!! How was your trip to Bali? I've been waiting for you to get back and tell me all about it :D
Wow, something must have effed up with my subscribed threads, I just realised there are bucketloads of new posts - I haven't been told about this lol!!
Mum2Maddie I don't know how you could not find out!! Not judging or looking down at all, I just couldn't stand to not know what I was having - I booked both mmy 20-wk scans for 18 weeks so I didn't have to wait any longer to find out hahaha :) I'm terrible, I don't *do* surprises!
Sally, congrats on Tristan!! Hayley was a bit slow to start off with too, when the midwives visited at 10 days they said she was 50g short of what she 'should' have been... ha, I'd like to see them now and rub their faces in it, she's solely BFed and is FAT!! A bit constipated lately though, she just wees all day and cries because she's backed up, then ppphhhhhrrrrrrrrrrt and she needs a bath because she's got poo literally up to her neck!! But she's gaining weight, sleeping through (11pm till 7am, with a half-asleep feed at around 4-5am, woohoo!!!), and is *really* well behaved apart from wanting to be cuddled and talked to constantly when she's awake. If she were the only bub around here it wouldn't be an issue, but juggling Emily and the massive amounts of housework around here is a real task! Wouldn't have it any other way though (I'd just make DH help out more hahaha).
Hope everyone is well :)
-
Oh loving the new name ;)
bali was incredible me and beau really reconnected it was beautiful and i got a killer tan
i seriously think this is the best month of my life
i love july!
this baby is the biggest shock because we have been using protection accept one time the condom broke and apperntly thats when bubs was concieved hahaha
anyway enought about me
how are your little babes?
maddie, tristan, hayley, emily, malachi taniesha, hunter, alyssa, charlie, cooper, brendan, anab elle and all the little baking babes?
-
congrats on the BPF sending heaps of sticky vibes to ya here is to a H&H pregancy
-
mine are all good and baking a lil girl named serenity...I tried finding out at 18 weeks but her feet were behind herhead although was told no boy bits were seen so was nice to be confirmed at 20 weeks although I have another scan in 2.5 weeks so will ask to double check...and I've only put on 2kg so very happy I guess being sick has it's ups only bummer is placenta at the front so not feeling much yet.....
-
thanks mr s :D
and welcome to younger member chat
-
Thought I would pop in and say hi for once. I lurk in this thread a little but have been a bit shy at actually saying hello.
So hello, I'm Jess. Some of you already know me and others probably have seen me around but I'm 21 and have a 4 month old baby girl, Imogen.
I have enjoyed reading about all of you as lame as that sounds ;)
-
Welcome Jitterbug!
i hope you feel welcome :)
hows are you and imogen?
-
We are good. She is going through a bit of a spurt so we are back to many, many wake ups through the night but hoping it is almost over!
-
Hi Jess and Mr Squidipa :D Lol read away, I'm quite shy and anti-social IRL so the internet is where I get all exhibitionist on the world :)
Arg, those growth spurts suck!! I love my sleep and I was a total zombie when DD1 went through all that stuff... I'm dreading it with DD2!
LOL my mum got Facebook the other day. Soooo funny.
I just left her a random comment about how her cats had no water to drink (they're away this weekend, I'm on food duty lol) and that I borrowed her electric beaters.
I'm so awesome... (not really. I like to think I am though.)
I'm still tossing up whether or not to post a cute pic of me right after giving birth to Hayley, I look okay despite the fact that I've just squeezed out a kid (it was taken while she was on the boob, must have been right after DH cut the cord because he didn't get the camera out until he'd washed his hands), but you can see a bit of areola and I don't know if the ppl on my friends list are really that interested in my sweaty chest and a greasy, bloody newborn hahahah :) But after that there are no pics of me (looking decent enough to post online anyway) with Hayley :(
-
DO IT
your beautiful, hayleys beautiful, birht is beautiful so im sure the photo is beautiful. :)
