hi just needing a vent and some questions answered if u can help its our first ivf cycle strtd injecting fsh on 12may went for scan the 20th lots of follies 2 small so fs said up injections fmr 175 units to 200 units so did that and injected for anhtr week (until today ) then had follie scan this morning .had one 20mm and one 16mm and one 14mm rest under 10mm ao thy did blood work and rang me this avo and said that cycle is cancelled only get about 2-3 good eggs soo what now they said stop all drugs soo when will af arrive ? then will i hve to go bck on pill for a mnth again like i did before first cycle or just get straight into nect cycle thnak guys feeling very deflated ...

Are they giving your provera to bring on a bleed? That's what happened to me when my first cycle was cancelled. I think it ended up being about a week later or something like that.
First cycles are test runs generally. Sometimes they hit on the right combination first go, but they often don't. The good news is that now they have a better idea how to make it work for you - hopefully it works better next time and you get lots of lovely eggs.
As for your next cycle, I dont knoew, it'll depend what protocol they want you to do. Give them a call and ask, that's what they're there for.

hopefulmumma, thats just crap news, Im very sorry From someone who has been there and gone ahead with a cycle when there were only 2 follicles, it really is better to start again next time and hopefully get a few more growing. That will give you a better chance for the cycle. I cant help with when a bleed will start but I imagine you will follow the exact same cycle stimulation you did this time, but with an increased dose. HTH & good luck next time
thank u lillydust your comments make me feel like iam not alone which i knw iam not but u wld knw wat i mean u can tlk to others family etc but thy dnt knw what we r going thrgh ...so thnk you . um clinic rang me sat avo so plan is as i dnt get a regular af iam bck on the pill as of yesterday then in 18days start synarel then should get period 3 days later then so injections on 23rd june so hopefully egg collection on 4th july thnk u again xo
I agree I went ahead with a cycle with two follicles and the third very tiny & ended up with nothing to transfer. Second cycle with ten follies and got three egs and only one to transfer and just got my BFP last Monday so there is hope
