Do you have to have a break between cycles???

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone knows definitively whether you need to take a break (of a month or more) between IVF stim cyles (antagonist).

    Thanks!

I did 2 cycles back to back last year with no break. My FS said as long as I didn't feel stressed from the previous cycle and I was healthy, he didn't see any reason not to. Hope that helps. I think every clinic is probably a bit different.

i had to have a break as i got sick after ivf. did full cycle so don't know about yours. but i suppose it depends on your health and emotional strength too. good luck to you whatever you do. :-)

99% of the doctors will say yes, you need a break. To clear out the hormones from your body and to have a mental break.

I'm tough and have had 2 back-to-back cycles as I feel like I'm running out of time. It was exhausting ... would I do it again? Probably not. It was too much, plus probably didn't help egg quality

My Fertility specialist gave us the option with going straight onto frozen after stimulated but I'm not sure re stim then another stim.
I finger your on the rollercoaster so how will having a month off really help but prolonge the agony... But that's just me.
I know my cycle after stim was unusually long and my body took a long time to ovulate and the FS said it was from the drugs of the stim cycle.
    Best of luck

It was in the TV non-ratings period. I had to fill my days somehow!

No, honestly, it was more about getting old and each month felt (and feels) like an eternity wasted.
