Ectopic/ heterotopic / Caesar scar pain?

Hi everyone

Haven't posted in a while. Have forgotten how to change signature. Had Dd in August 11 and have been using up her frozen cycle siblings. Had two fet's both neg, but this month had 2 blasts transferred. On Monday my hcg was 2146 (which is my highest by a long way ever, dd3 was only 175 at 19dpo). Mentally i know my level is good, but physically I have a small niggling pain in my side. I have had this pain before when I had an ectopic pregnancy removed along with my left tube at 7 weeks pg.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with this. Is it possible that it could be my Caesar scar grabbing? Or maybe heterotopic? My next scan isnt until 5th July. I went to my go today and requested another bt to check the hcg level is doubling. Just feeling very nervous about the pain in my side. Know it's still to early to tell tho..,

I had significant pain on my right side starting around 4 weeks with DD3 and convinced myself it was another ectopic - had one in my right tube 12 odd years ago but didn't lose the tube. Ultrasound prior to o'ing so I knew I o'd from the right ovary.

The nurse at my FS said that sort of time was usually too early for pain from an ectopic, and said it was more than likely pain from the corpus luteum, exacerbated by the hormones I was on. I still stressed about it until the scan at 7 weeks, but fortunately confirmed all good. The pain was severe, particularly when I was stretching, rolling over etc.

Maybe give your clinic a call and just run it by them. Good luck.

Thanks so much for your reply. I went to see my gp. I just had a fet so my ovaries weren't stimulated. Still not sure what the pain was. My levels were going up really well 2146 then 5100 2 days later. But all of a sudden I had a miscarriage with no warning on Sunday morning.....Massive loss, got a real shock. No idea what happened. Have had 3 girls but this is my 4th miscarriage. Convinced I did something wrong. I had a lentil soup Saturday night and didnt feel terribly good afterwards even tho I made it and ate it hot and fresh.

I'm so sorry Aimee. I read your other thread too, and am wondering if someone suggested to you that it was the lentils, or if its just the timing that you can't overlook. Definitely worth looking into with your FS. It is so hard not to continually question everything you do with multiple losses, but I'm sure its nothing you did (or didn't do).
