New Comer - IVF / PGD

    Hi There,

I am new to the forum and am hoping it can help give me a place to chat about what my husband and I are going through. First question - is there a place with a quick reference list for all the abbreviations people are using?

My husband and I are in our third round of IVF / PGD. Already on to the puregon injections and nervously awaiting our first scan. I know the side affects now and think I have had the mood swings under some sort of control. But the headaches and some nausea is a struggle. Does any one have any advice on these?

I am doing acupuncture but am 4 days out from my next treatment and struggling a little. Although if anyone suffers insomnia in this process acupuncture is a dream come true.

Looking forward to some good conversations.

    Hi and welcome to BellyBelly.
I wish the circumstances were better.
We have an IVF with PGD thread, if you'd like to join
This thread might help with the abbreviations too.
    Good luck!

    Hi MadB,

    Thank you for the welcom.

I'm having trouble joining that thread through the app I am using. How do I do that?

if you post right into the thread - and just say 'hi' or something, it should work.... are you using the BB app or tapatalk??

(I found it easier just to use safari on my phone (a bit more awkward, but without the quirks of the apps.... a few things need fixing in them still!)
after you have posted more than 50 times and been a member for more than a month, more things open up and it's easier to post... so just keep saying Hi and commenting with others and it will get there

    Hi my turn,

I am using tapatalk. I must admit it was all a lot easier on Internet explorer at work today.

Thanks for the advice with safari. Will work with that I think.
