DH and I are considering undergoing IVF again, but during my last pregnancy I developed several uterine fibroids. I ended up having a c-section and the fibroids bled a lot (I lost about a litre of blood) and the OB said I was 'two steps away from having a hysterectomy'. I will of course be discussing this with our FS, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with uterine fibroids (treatment etc) and did this effect your fertility and/or pregnancy?
