Question How did IVF affect the length of your cycle?

I'm taking a survey: Did IVF and all of the attendant drugs change your cycle length in any way (either shortening or lengthening it)? How so? Has it been different during different cycles? If so, to what (if anything) do you attribute the difference? How many of you had cycles that stayed the same while you were going through IVF? (These questions obviously only apply to cycles where you had a BFN.)

AFM, I usually have a 26 day cycle, and today is CD27, with no AF yet. I haven't had my BT yet from my ET, so I don't know if I'm late b/c of a BFP or just b/c of the drugs, but I'm curious to hear others' experiences.

    Thanks!

As far as the length of the IVF cycle itself it concerned, it often depends on what support drugs you are on. If you're taking prog support, for eg, it often lengthens the cycle I think.

    Thanks!

    Hi Marcellus,

That's what I suspected, and is one of the things I was trying to figure out. Thanks!

The progesterone pessaries which I have taken as part of OI and will continue with during IVF lengthen my cycle. In fact I usually don't get me period for 2-3 days after I stop taking them.

Crossing my fingers you're late because of BFP
