Im just curious as to how many cells your Embryo was on ET day??? and did it result in a BFP or BFN
Mine was 5 Cells ... day 2 transfer.... i always thought cells were meant to be divided evenly (i could be very wrong as this is all new to me) so just curious of the results

Firstly after 13 cycles of IVF it may be a little hard for me to remember them all, when i was doing day 2/3 TF i recall them saying 4 call, 5 cell and even an 8 cell.
since then i have been doing blasties and dont think they tell you the cells with them, they just tell me if it is hatching?
Hope someone else is able to give you a better indication but i am sure 5 cell is possible GL
The cell divisions won't all happen at the same time, particularly after the first few.
If you consider what happens - the first cell splits into two cells.
Then each of those two cells splits to form a 4 cell embryo. If one of those 4 cells splits earlier than the rest, you will end up with 5 cells and it's still perfectly ok.
I've only ever transferred blastocysts (too many cells to count) and one day three embryo (8+ cells) so I can't really comment for sure on whether that's good or not for a day 2, but it's certainly along the way to becoming an 8 cell on day 3 so I'd imagine that it's ok.
My last were a 4 & 3 cell at Day 2 and I got a bfn. Though I did get to freeze an embryo at 5 cell, I think...... I have now started to ask more about the grade of the embryo, rather than the cells, as you can have a lot of cells, but not the best quality
