Is there anything you can do to prevent chromosome abnormalities?
As the title of the thread says, I'm wondering if there is anything that can be done to try to prevent embryo's having chromosome abnormalities, or is it simply a matter of luck when the egg and sperm meet?
We are about to start our second IVF attempt as our first try a couple of months ago resulted in 7 embryos that had PGD testing done on them. They weren't able to get results on two of them, but the remaining 5 all had chromosomal problems It was devastating and although I'm told we were just unlucky, if there is anything that I can do to help the next lot of embies, then I really want to try!
