Round 3 and we have always stuck to the belly for injecting as I have bee told the inner thighs are way too painful and I worry about having trouble sitting as I bruise pretty badly.
Never did the thighs, always the tummy area. I bruised a few times when I was not very gentle with the needles ie: just jabbed them in. I also started from the left and went around to the right to give the injection sites a break
i have always done the gonal/puregon ones in the belly area too, you do end up with a little row of small bruises/red marks. i am on clexane (blood thinner) injections as well and have been doing those ones in my love handles (checked with specialist first) as they seem to hurt less there for me. you could always ask your specialist for alternative spots if you're finding the belly area too painful? (the inner thigh sounds like it would be painful?!). goodluck.
I just alternated left and right too. I found if I went directly below the navel that it hurt, so I just alternated sides. I did try not to use exactly the same spot with subsequent injections though.
