    Newbie

    Hi everyone,

I'm Natalie and I just wanted to introduce myself. Brief background - my DH and I started TTC in 2003. After 12 months we were referred to a fertility specialist and did 3 rounds on Clomid and had a Laparscopy and hysteroscopy with no reason found for our infertility. We then went to the fertility clinic and did 3 IUI cycles with one chemical pregnancy. 6 IVF cycles later my gorgeous little girl was conceived. Amongst those 6 cycles were 2 where we had no embryos.

My little girl is now 2 and we started at the fertility clinic at the beginning of this year. I've done a FET - BFN, 1 IVF cycle - BFN and today I did another FET and am currently lying down hoping that will help my little embryo implant.

I look forward to reading everyone's story and hope I can support you as much as I hope you can support me.

    Hi all,

I just wanted to say hello. This is the first time I have ever been on one of these sites so I'm still trying to understand all the abbreviations! I'll give you a quick run down on my history: diagnosed with severe endo a year and a half ago. Had a lap and hysteroscopy which removed all the endo (temporarily anyway) and the op revealed I had normal fallopian tubes and uterus. Tried naturally to concieve for a year after that with no luck and just had my first I.U.I this month. I have just started my period so the I.U.I obviously didn't work. I will be starting my first stimulated cycle of I.V.F in the next month. Does anyone know anyone who was successful with their first i.v.f cycle?

Welcome Natalie - as another unexplained it's great to hear a success story. Hope this one goes perfectly for your #2.

Marie I know 2 ppl who had moderate endo removed via lap & were BFP on first ivf cycle. Now that the problem's been dealt with you've got a great chance.

Thank Saraz for your info. I feel like there's hope now. It was awful finding out today that the i.u.i didn't work but at least i know i.v.f might give me a better chance.

By the way- Sorry Natalie. I am hopeless at using this site! I didn't realise I was writing a new comment on your thread until after i sent it. Sorry again!
