    Thumbs up FET cycle

Hey guys, I'm sort of old on this forum, as in I registered here a little bit ago but had forgotten the link and forgot to introduce myself my apologies! I thought I'd tell you all my story. My husband and I have been trying for 5 and a half years. Well naturally. We did IVF ICSI last year and we got a bfp straight away first go which was excellent. At 14 weeks gestation our baby girl was diagnosed with CDH (congenital diaphragmatic hernia) I gave birth to her at 31 and a half weeks gestation (19/11/09). So she had CDH and Prematurity against her. She sadly grew her wings on the 25/11/09 she was six days old.

Well now we are back on the TTC wagon. We are starting our FET next week after our FS pushed us for it before we move. So I'm fairly excited about it and wanted to share my story with you all. I'm wondering if anyone else here has done a FET? I can't wait to meet you all and talk about this again sorry about not being on as much. I will definetly keep you all updated xoxox

    Hi Kazzles, welcome back!

I'm very sorry to hear about your precious baby that was not able to stay in this world. In time you may also feel like joining the Miscarriage, Stillbirth and Loss of a Child forums here, and there is a place there where you may want to share your story of your little girl's life there also.

I wish you lots and lots of luck with your upcoming FET - many people have great success with frozen embryos cycles (including me) and I hope that this FET is the one for you.

    All the best

    Hi Kazzles,

I'm so sorry that you've lost your little angel . I've had a fresh cycle in 2008, fell pg straight away, but also lost my bub at 21 weeks due to a big fibroid that got angry on me. Fast forward to 2009, after I had the fibroid removed in January, I had my FET (I only had one frozen embryo) in July and now I'm a week away from having my litle boy. There isn't a day that I don't think how lucky I am to have gotten pg first go both times, on fresh and frozen cycles. My FS actually told me for some reason there is more success with FETs.
GL hun, wishing you a great success story like mine!

PS there is a thread that I was (and still am as I like to pop in here from time to time) a part of, it's called TTC after still birth, late loss & recurrent m/c. The girls in there are amazing.

Just thought I'd let you know the FET got cancelled, our little embryo who I called Tucker didn't make it through thawing =[ But good thing is we get our money back, and well guess we have to figure out our next step. it really sucks! All the best for everyone else though <3
