I'll start by introducing myself...I'm Megan 32 and DH is 37, we've been trying for almost 4 1/2 years with an early m/c and an ectopic in which i lost my right tube.
We are about to start IVF in June, starting BCP's next week but since i hadn't had an u/s in over a year FS wanted me to get one done before we start. She said the 2ww wasn't an optimal time to do one but it would do for now.
Anyway I got the u/s done Friday and got results today.
Uterus Size: Normal
Thickness: Normal
but they found a 13x20mm cystic lesion at the endometrial/myometrial interface and a 4cm rounded lesion within the left ovary. Says most likely represents haemorrhagic change within ovarian cyst.
My question is and what I am worried about.....do you think they will postpone/cancel the first cycle due to this?
Could it just be a corpus luteum cyst and maybe go away once AF shows up or while on BCP?
Has anyone had any experience with cysts and starting IVF?
This is the first time in my life i have ever been aware of having one and am feeling a bit crappy as i don't want the cycle to be cancelled or put on hold. We've planned this so well to fit in with DH's holidays and am so keen to get started.
