Hi guys,

I am very new to all this and to date have been pretty relaxed about it all. I am in my first IVF cycle with PGD to test for hubby's syndrome. I have just had my egg retrieval, and now am all of a sudden nervous that I have been too optimistic (not sure what that is all about).

Does anyone know of any online resources that break down the probabilities of survival of the embrios at each stage (can you tell I'm a numbers girl)?

My fertility nurse is super positive about how we went at retrieval (23 collected, 20 mature, 20 fertilised) but the FS was very reserved. We cant really afford to do this twice so I am really hoping we get a baby and maybe even some spares this round Is that crazy?

Any advice would be great!

Thanks!
