Worried it's not working :(

Hi All,

After some advise...
I have started my Gonal F on Saturday and I am starting on 450iu due to my poor response last time with Puregon. We had three eggs for collection one released early one was not able to be used and our lucky last didn't fertilise.
I have been taking royal jelly, weekly acupuncture, DHEA, macca, C10, and elevit.
I have a very low ovarian reserve(1.4) at 34
I have had NO symtoms other than a MASSIVE headache...
No bloating, no cramps not even mild..... nothing.... is this normal.
I am soooooooo frightened that I am going to go back Thursday there will have been no response!! Its stressing me out.
With the puregon I had some bloating and cramping.
How have others responded to the Gonal F???? Any symptoms???

Bex, I dont get any symptoms on gonal f and my last cycle I was on 450.

I did six rounds of clomid and the symtoms were much worse!

I too thought the gonal f wasnt working. I got three eggs both cycles. The first time one fertilised. The second, two fertilised. All BFNs unfortunately

Bex, I have nothing to add, other than sending you tons of baby dust. Like N2L said, my symptoms on Clomid were much worse than what I did for IUI, so I would think your response could be 'normal'.
I think the first few cycles are really tough as they are trying to work out what dosage is your best response. I know when I was doing acupuncture, taking my temp, taking herbs etc.... it made me more stressed and put alot more pressure on myself. Perhaps look at doing for example just acupuncture next round to give yourself a break. Best of luck.

Thanks everyone for your responses, it brings some comfort knowing others felt no/little symptoms. Will be glad to have my scan on Thursday to see how it's all going.
