Guardian Angel "Knit for someone in need"

Guardiana Pharmacy/Salvos Knitting Appeal. Is anyone else doing this? I forgot about it until now But we still have until August 31.

Am gonna get have to get my butt into gear and grab some wool!

I'm not a great knitter, but I think I could manage a scarf. Do you just go into Guardian pharmacy to get the patterns?

Hm, then I have to get off BB long enough to do some knitting!

LOL you can go visit them and rhey give you a pattern book, or you can just knit something if you have a pattern at home.

Things like jumpers, scarves, beanies, and blankets are suggestions they give on the site. I think I remember seeing a tv segment where they said that they realy need larger sized jumpers, lots of people send kids or small sizes, and they need some larger ones too, if you're that way inclined.

Hm, a large size jumper might be available from me next winter....or the one after that. Slowest knitter on the planet.
