    I want to move...

Ok... so this isn't a vent or anything of the like.
Just saying it to you girls cause no one is here to listen to me at the moment.

I would LOVE to mov to the mid north coast somewhere.
I grew up in a country town, and while i Love the city, i would love for dd and the next bubba when they come along to live somewhere smaller and near the beach would be really good too.

I've been planting seeds with DF to move, but sales jobs appear to be few and far between. his a sale manager for a removal company in sydney and at the moment he doesn't seem to want to leave. If he could find a similar job there i might have mroe success in convincing him. hmmmmm

will just keep working on it.

thanks for listening. Hm by myself.. no one to talk to lol

I'm in the same boat. I just want to move from here atm, I'm over all the small town BS. Can't afford it though and the way jobs are being cut left right and centre finding a secure job is a bit of a worry atm.

JJ- we are doing this next week (our second time in the past 3 years)

we were in the same position as you - Dh's job wasnt an easy one to find but we decided enough was enough and we were going to do it wholeheartedly.

So the past 2-3 months we would pick coastal towns and we would contact ALL the businesses in the area that DH may be able to work for and said - we can coming down this week and would love to be able to come in and talk about work.

We got a few interviews here and there - none which panned out to anything

But then about a month ago we said - ok next town (north mid coast too lol) and we did the same thing, showed up for 3-4 days (DH had to take Annual leave for all this to happen).

And now he has a job and we move next week!

They were impressed at his dedication and work to find a job (rather than just sitting around waiting). And were excited we WANTED to live there not just looking for a job and would move to accomodation if that makes sense

SO i think if you WANT it go for it FULL ON!
