Mine's a cop. Before that he was a barman, before that a Combat Systems Operator in the Navy.
Mine was in the army before he joined Aus.Post.
He's a dog groomer... was a chef in years gone by...
I'm actually kind of jealous of those of you who can describe your partner's job in only a few words! I've never really been able to do that with DH's jobs, they usually need some sort of explanation as to what he actually does. The corporate events one is probably the longest (and I thought the TV station when we met was bad!) and selling PA gear was probably the shortest (funnily enough, it lasted for the shortest time, too!)

dh is a sales manager in a retail chain store.
Mine defends this great country of ours...lol :) he's a soldier. A Paratrooping Artillery Sergeant to be more specific. Not right now though he is on his long service leave to be a SAHD!

My Df is a truckie after 8 years of being a parts salesman!
So is mine... plasterer/gyprocker but if you ask him he will say he is a gyprocktologist... he wanted me to write that on DD's birth certificate paperwork!:
I said "no... cause then DD will think you're a knob!"

A friend of mine is a plasterer and he says he "gets plastered all day" for a living lol

My DH is a Leading hand Diesel Mechanic. I love him being a leading hand now cause he rarely gets super dirty like he use too.
Wow, we could have our own little community that covers just about everything in BB-land!
My DP sells office supplies, so that will keep our printers running, LOL. He has his own business.

MIne is a Marine Detailer.
My DH works in the mines, his job is a couple rolled into one drill offsider/truckdriver and i know he does something else but cant remember what its called ;)
He's also good at putting up with me :D
DP is a ceiling fixer....or gyprocker / plasterer (depending on who you talk to) another one! He's also about to start lecturing at trade school.
DP owns his own concreting business :)
DH is a contracts manager which is sort of like a project manager in construction.
DH is a Media Advisor to the Federal Government
my DH is a Telecommunications Technican aka 2 way radios, sat phones, foxtel etc
atm he works for Rio Tinto in the mines.. before he used to work for the WA Police do all there fancy radio & computers in there cars :)

What an interesting thread, so many different occupations!
DF works on a refinery mining ore, he operates a tonne of different machinery. When he gets on a new one he likes to send me a picture, and honestly I have absolutely no idea why they'd trust him driving something so big! :o
He makes me proud though, he's almost got his ticket for every peice of mining machinery you can lay your hands on. Not to mention the hours...
... not a fan of the crap he comes home covered in though, nor is my poor washing machine ;)

DH is a sound engineer by day and musician by night.
oh and offical beer taster and spider killer at home:lol:
