I'm SO glad bfing has settled down so I don't have to wear a bra to bed anymore!

I used to sleep nekkid many years ago but then one of my friends had a house fire and had to run out of her house in the middle of the night wearing nowt but her birthday suit.
I learnt from her pain and from that day forth I always slept in something that I wouldn't mind whole street plus a couple of truckloads of firemen seeing.
Yes, I dress for the fireman too ;) I usually wear a snug singlet as well.

I wear undies to bed, full bum undies (not granny ones) but during the day I wear g strings. To bed I wear flannel pj's atm or DP's trackies and a pj top, and somenights socks as well. I freeze!! There is no way I could go undie less, I already have 5 kids, I'd end up with a whole heap more. Yeah I am wearing a bra to bed too atm, for breastfeeding purposes.
Oh, and if you want it to "breathe", wear cotton undies. No excuse then ;)
ETA, now if I were dressing for the fireman..... ahhh maybe that should go in AO ;)
I was about to say the same thing, Trish - don't you use cotton undies to let things breathe?
I'm a 100% cotton knickers girl all the time! After DTD, it's a dash to the loo, undies back on, and add a liner just to be sure.
I just feel way too exposed if I'm sleeping naked - the sensation of the sheets against my skin is just... well, it keeps me awake! I always thought I was the strange one, but maybe not now.

I'm flat out wearing knickers during the day - so at night I've most definately NOT got any on. I will occassionally wear a long t-shirt to bed but usually i'm naked.

No knickers here! I don't like being totally nekked even on hot summer nights though so will wear very light airy fairy french knickers or light cotton bikini knicks in summer with nothing else but otherwise just pj's will do me!
No bra either - my girls like to roam free at night!! (Unless Im breastfeeding of course and that took some getting used to!)
Definitely knickers to bed and put them back on after DTD as well ;)

Used to be nickerless, but that changed over the years. I have developed excema in that area and if I am nickerless it get too irritated by my goddess thighs :( If I lose the weight then I will get rid of them. It is a good way thought to indicate if I am in the mood or not, no nickers is a nice way to show I am interested ;) I do like to wear a top to bed, to just keep my upper half warm.
No knickers for me! Except for AF and after DTD. No anything else either. I can't sleep wearing anything I feel like I get all tangled up!!

I dont wear undie on weekends either - unless I go down the street - but mostly the weekend in no underwear for me!! YAY!
(there is a little storey about no knickers on weekend tho - I was painting and needed something from shops so I went down and as I waslking the isle I relised that my painting pants had a BIG hole in the bum and I wasnt wearing undies!! Im sure ppl saw too! SO always make sure your tarckies have no holes if going comando!!)
Wow, obviously I'm in the minority! Since I moved out of home I have slept naked (except for AF). It never even occurred to me that most other people wear something to bed. No wonder my friend is always going on about buying new pyjamas!
Like SaraJane said, I feel tangled up if I wear anything, and get all sweaty. I feel closer to DH too, with both of us naked.
But this has got me thinking, when I have a baby to get up to I may need to consider night time clothing options. Maybe just singlet and undies, as it'll be summer. I think that's the most I could cope with and still be comfortable.
No nickers, no bra...I do wear jammies though.
i think that us girls who fly free are the weird ones...lol
mind you I have to do the dash to the toilet and use a towel after DTD - can't deal with a wet patch ..lol sorry TMI
No knickers for me, apart from AF time. I wear PJs in cold weather, a tee in mild weather and nothing in hot weather.
I was just thinking that the dressing for the firemen thing might get a few more people sleeping naked! Lol not my thing though!
I sleep in the nude too. No nickers unless AF is around. After DTD I wipe off and then pop some tissues down there :redface:
I have a dressing gown. I keep it on the end of the bed. Or lying next to me in bed if it is winter so I don't have to go out in the cold with no clothes on!
I have been wondering what I will do once DS is older... I'm sure I'll be wearing something to bed then!
Thank you Catherine, I've jsut remembered why I initially stopped going nude.........DS! (der Janie!). It feels waaaay too strange to sleep nekkid with him in the bed......and he would likely BF all night long. I wear a top with easy access, but I don't want it to be THAT easy PMSL!
I wear layer upon layer upon layer LOL! I can't even wear nighties as I feel too vulnerable (weird I know!). I can sleep perfectly fine nekkid on my own but not with him in the bed. I can't even have a nap in the afternoon with him if I have a skirt on, pants or its not gonna happen.
When breastfeeding I had to wear bra's to bed or I'd leak everywhere and it was horrid.
I had relatives that slept in the nude and it always freaked me out, if something happened I wouldn't want to go tell/ask them because I was too embarrassed.
I think Marc could easily be a nudist. I think I'm too self conscious.

I usually sleep nakey. I occasionally sleep with a shirt and nickers on....if its cool enough.

Nah, used to be no knickers Or jammies - in fact when I was hospitalised with DS1 I had to send Mum to Target to buy me some jammies because I didn't own any!
Now I live with Mum and Dad, I do wear jammies... but whenever they are away, I'm naked as the day I was born... now that's fun!
Not that I have to worry about DTD anymore... I used to keep a flannel in the bathroom, so I'd pee and then wipe and then go back to bed, so no wet spot for me...
Oh and bring on the firemen! I might be lucky enough to get some action! Woohoo!

100% naked here lol. DH has a spack attack if I wear anything to bed :redface: Took a while to get used to the idea after wearing undies,singlet and pjs as a kid.
Divvy - You would definetely get some action if there were firemen around. Not the type you want though I don't think. It would be hot & steamy though!

I mainly wear knickers and a singlet, put them back on after DTD as well. I hate the dribbles and wet patch!;). Have to wear a maternity bra atm due to b/f but usually not.

used to both be naked sleepers before children. but not now. They wander in to our room alot.....still....probably why dh is so 'shy' now. cos they are both girls, and they are 11 and 8.

As for the fireman thing, I always have trakkies and a singlet beside the bed, in case I need to exit the house quickly.

I dont wear knickers to bed. I dont know why, but I find it uncomfortable. I used to sleep nekkid, but I dont now. If i do, DH reckons he's gonna get some and quite frankly, I'm too tired half the time, lol.
Ooooh i missed this thread. I have learnt so much though. I thought it was just me that hated the sticky mess after DTD! Never thought to ask anyone for their feelings on it.
If I were in the tropics I would too be naked all year (except after DTD and AF). But winter in chilly Canberra means all skin is covered. I love being naked in Summer though.
