I wear knickers to bed... I feel too vulnerable otherwise... growing up with a creepy step-father (who said that everyone should sleep naked) kinda has that effect.... he used to call me "prudish" well if that makes me different from him then that's fantastic!) Plus I feel it keeps the sheets cleaner... love the smell of clean linen.... not musty body emissions smelling sheets. I only own 100% cotton underwear so that is 'breathable' enough for me. Also my mother occasionally used to sleep naked and I would feel too self conscious going into to ask for help or when i was scared at night. Also when you have a baby you are up 10 times a night and it's just one less thing to do each time. Plus when visitors are staying i would want to be able to help them at a moments notice without embarrassing them or calling out "just let me get dressed".
Im not allowed to wear anything to bed i get kicked out if i do by my DH. i like to wear socks sometimes tho if its cold, a great look:redface:

I am a naked sleeper. I use tissues after DTD and we rarely have wet spots. If we do I try and make sure they are on DH's side (mwahahahah!!) or I make him swap sides with me. I am comfortable with my body and prefer to be naked, DD1 does too. During the day at home she will run around naked for hours!!
I do have a dressing gown nearby but I need to get some summer PJ's for those times when we have people here or we are at someone's house. My dressing gown is a winter 1 so it doesn't get used too much up here!!
If we didn't have picket fences I would dance naked in the backyard in the rain.
Definitely undies, singlet and PJ's for me and in summer, singlet and undies minimum. I would kinda feel like everythings hanging out if I didn't have something on?? Plus DH would just think yep she wants me if I went to bed with no undies all the time :lol:
I wear them to bed most of the time, sometimes I just wear PJ bottoms. I don't usually put them on after DTD though.
you are not going to believe this.
i wore no knickers to bed before DD was born and loved it.
now i feel AWFUL without them on so i must always put them on for bed.

Hot nights i just wear a singlet and knickers.

I sleep fully clothed, every night.. I even wear a bra to bed (wire-free maternity bra, I couldn't sleep in the padded/water-filled/underwired contraptions I wear every day!) because I heard on some TV show that sleeping bra-less makes you saaaaag really badly, your poor boobs need lots of support even when you're asleep, so yeah...
Usually I wear a singlet and a pair of ratty old shorts (or long pants and a jumper over my shirt if it's cold) as well as my undies lol :) I can't sleep comfortably naked or half-dressed :/
And I usually have my knickers and shorts stuffed under the pillow while we DTD so I don't have to grope around in the dark looking for them, I just whip them out and straight back on before DH has even pulled the blanket back over himself hahaha... maybe I'm weird, but yeah, I hate sleeping in a wet patch!!

I definitely wear knickers to bed - if i didnt when DH gives me the "goodnight bum rub" (he's checking for a no nickers signal) then i would be in for it (dtd).
I detest the wet spot- always seems to be on MY side of the bed too - DH thinks thats funny !
Also i get a cold bum - seem to have a cold butt all year round - must have bad circulation there - or its too big to keep warm!
Dont like the thought of getting up through the night with no knickers or possibly having my kids jump into bed with us in the morning (rare). They see me naked regularly but there is something that just doesnt feel right about them being in bed with me knickerless!
what a great post , just only seen this one . from a male point of view , i dont wear nothing to bed , untill my wife woke me one morning saying fire , so i grab a few items run outside . heaps of traffic out the front , people waiting for the bus . me out front stark naked and people laughing there heads off . yes dw sleeps with clothes on , still thinking of a payback to dw
Lol you'r elucky - I get the bum rub regardless and even if I'm wearing pants and not showing interest, DH just starts peeling them off me anyway!! Lol... men.:
HAHAHAHAH That actually reminds me of when DD was a newborn and DH and I were living at my parents' house... DH sleeps in the nud too and was laying in bed watching TV in the middle of the night when he spied a ****roach on the wall.. I should mention here that DH is incredibly phobic about roaches, he's not scared of anything else at all in the entire world but a little roach sends him running for the hills...:
Anyway, he jumped out of bed, grabbed a shoe and started beating at it, but when it took flight he just ran out into the hallway completely starkers, not even caring whether my parents came out to investigate the noise!!
He still hasn't lived that one down and it was well over a year ago lol :)
He's also been known to jump out of bed completely naked, grab his baseball bat out from under the bed and go out ready to confront an intruder if he hears a strange noise during the night... some people have no shame!!

Completely OT but my uncle is a truckie and the kids next door while he was renting my parents house when Dad had a short term transfer interstate, were kicking balls against the fence. He went over there in the middle of the day wearing only his jocks and took the balls off them and told them to keep it down. Needless to say they never bothered him again!!:

Never! I'm a naked sleeper...even in winter sometimes but when i am wearing pjs jin winter i still don't wear knickers
Kinda funny I'll wear pj's at night and take them off when i go to bed lol just cooler that way
when DH & i got together it was nekkid sleeping all round..but now..meh! me needs clothes on..well t-shirt & knickers...
I sleep in nothing, even in the middle of winter, since i was in my teens but there is a reason :p
I've always been a really restless sleeper, dont know what it is but even when i was little i would wake up just about choking myself with my PJ's because I would move around so much while sleeping.
Having nothing on helps, a little but I still don't remember the last good nights sleep i had...lucky DH is a very heavy sleeper and doesnt get woken up by my tossing and turning.
Always keep PJ's by the bed for middle of the night stuffs, I can get dressed pretty quick if need be :p

In the cold I prefer knickers makes me feel the teensiest bit warmer LOL!
Also depends how I am feeling about DTD if I go to bed with knickers it gives DF a bit of a warning to take it easy haha
the weeks that DH is gone im more likely to sleep in just knickers and a singlet, i could never wear no knickers.. it feels too.. naked hehe. if i slept in undies while DH is home i would never be left alone, so i wear boxers or jammie pants.
i always have a shower straight after DTD, and then knickers :)
DH sleeps in the nude.. even if it is freezing cold (he doesnt feel the cold like i do, and he gets hot real easy) and he always asks me why i dont sleep naked too, i was like "do i REALLY need to answer that?" he saw the look on my face, burst out laughing and said "yeh i guess your right.." haha, even he knows he wouldnt be able to help himself lol.
Pyjama pants or boxers with no knickers underneath. I can't stand wearing knickers to bed.
Definately knickers here and straight back on after DTD. Dh is the same he gets up and puts his back on too so he doesnt "stick" to the sheets :rofl:
When I dont wear them, it is DHs cue that he is in without the need to persuade me. He always likes those nights but its back into the knickers afterwards.
I haven't read all of the replies but i have to say that i dont pay much attention to what i wear to bed, if i have my knickers on when im lounging in shorts or trackies then ill wear them to bed but if i have just showered i usually dont.
Oh i could not sleep naked, it feels too weird and i always feel like the blankets will fall off and someone will walk in on me, and plus my DP would not leave me alone!! he sleeps naked though which is quite annoying especially with his 'morning glory' poking me in the back LOL!!!!
ETA: After we DTD its back on with whatever i had on haha and my DP chucks back on his clothes and goes and watches telly, thats right after.. we aren't the cuddly type we get it over and done with and we dont talk for a little while after.
I can't sleep naked, I just feel too bare lol! Knickers and jarmies for me, plus socks too in winter. No bra though - cannot sleep with a bra on.

no knickers for me unless expecting or during AF... however DTD i have 2 be real tired 2 not shower after..(if i am that tired i'll put knickers on.. i cant sleep with a cold wet spot on the sheets) also kind of a naked sleeper unless the girls are sick or we have guests staying over & even then no knickers! oh and i can't fall asleep with socks on, i get too hot?!! with them on in bed. We have taught our daughter that its a time to let that area breathe (under pj's) (and was also one less thing to pull down/get wet, years ago when she was being toilet trained)

I have NEVER worn knickers to bed, I think the girls need their freedom every now and then! lol can't stand the thought of everything being smothered all night as well as all day.
And I get uncomfy in anything in bed, I like my freedom! lol
i used to be a naked sleep naked girl then i had ds and yeah i wear knickers to bed just in case lol dp allways tells me its weird but i feel more i dunno safer with them on lol i put them back on after the deed too lmao but thats me my undies are my saftey blanket now bras i could do without those lol

BUTT NAKED here :lol: except during AF obviously. BLEH, hate pjs, I always feel so "tied up" in them, they bunch up and scrunch around and when we stay somewhere and wear pjs I feel like I spend most of the night rearranging them :-S frustrating!
