Recommendations for Accommodation in Sth Perth

Hi,

We are thinking of traveling to Perth in November.
THinking that apartment style would be best for accommodation so that we can prepare food there instead of eating out al the time... MJ will only be 8mths at this stage too.

Anyway - can anyone recommend somewhere in South Perth or nearby - preferably near Swan River...
We are going to go to the Redbull Air Race...

ohh went to air race in 2006 and had a ball so mch fun!!!!!!!!!

cant help with accom as we had hotel in cbd 5 mins walk to ferry!!!
we have thought about going again this yr but accom may be hard to find at that time!
accom was hard to find last time

also lots of hotels near the river in the cbd with many varying price ranges.

But in South Perth the broadwater is good for apartments, just depends how much you want to spend.
