We are going to be doing a FET cycle in September/October. We have 4 blasties frozen and our specialist wants to put 2 back in this time instead of one. I have read that it's approx 70% chance that they will survive the thaw so do you thaw just 2 blasties and hope for the best or do you thaw all four??????????
Hi Jade, usually the clinic will thaw them one by one, so if you want two put back they thaw the first two, then if one of those doesn't make the thaw, then they'd thaw another one. The clinic knows within an hour or so if the emby is going to survive the thaw. The clinic will confirm your wishes, you can opt for thawing of two and two only even if one or both don't survive. HTH
We are doing a FET in September also! Our First FET, as our Fresh Cycle for DS worked first go, and didnt need to use any frozen. Hope they thaw well for everyone Hope there will be a baby boom in May/June Next Year!!! Good Luck to all !
