Has anyone on BB had experience with Zygote Intrafallopian Transfer as compared to GIFT? I have had my 6 ET failure (3 stim cycles, 3 FET) and am wondering where too next. I had a whole battery of tests prior to IVF number 2 but that has only lead to treatment with antibiotics, asprin and predisolone. I am overweight too - could that be a serious issue as well?
sorry no one has replied. I do not know anything really about GIFT as it really wasnt/ isnt an option for us (i have no tubes)
Compairing to IVF i would say i would think ivf more successful only given that that is the prefered treatment for women even if tubes are OK? (again this is my perception)
I remember when i was first told about my tubal proble and discussing with a FS in London about a tube TF (from another women with healthy tubes that they no longer want) His reply was that they did start to do tube TF's but then IVF came on the scean and was much more successful.
It seems you have tried many cycles, you mentioned a weight issue, do you also have PCOS? for me this is mananged with metformin which is also sneaky in helping me keep my weight down. Other things you could look at are PGD?
