Pregnyl Question - How long does it take to leave system?

    Hi Ladies.

We had our ET last Sat 28th Nov...I'm keen to feed my POAS addiction

can anyone tell me how long it would take a 1000 dose of Pregnyl to leave your system? So I don't get false Positives?

    Thankies

Ninah, not sure how long it takes Pregnyl to leave the system, but my understanding is that the levels of HcG are not detected until implantation occurs. Again, only from my understanding (and I could be wrong) I think the earliest implantation can occur is 5dpo.

This is always the tricky bit, though, because if you have, say, a transfer at day 5, technically that is already 5dpo which one would think means you could POAS almost straightaway.

I'm hoping to day a day 5 transfer, this Wednesday. Yet my clinic is making me wait 2 weeks after this Wednesday, so BT on 16/12/09

Perhaps try POAS one week after transfer? I've sworn off POASing until I get a positive BT as they just destroy me when I only see one line.

I've heard that it takes 5 days......but my clinic didn't do a BT until 7 days after my last Pregnyl shot. I was too chicken to do a HPT LOL so good luck!

    Ty ladies

Yeah we did do a 5 day transfer, the embie was just hatching on the day of transfer, so Dr said I could get symptoms early...

Feeling so so so bloated and tired, but assuming it's the pregnyl though...

They say it takes 10 -16days depending on the person for pregnyl to be out of the system.

    I hope this helps.
