Just wondering how many here go throu the Satalite clinics and then go to the either RW or Freemasons. My specialists rooms are at Freemasons but has a satalite clinic at Sunshine.
When I did IVF years ago we had a sat clinic here (Geelong) and I found the face to face contact alot better than waiting on the phone to be told instructions. I am going to have to travel 1hr+ for appointments anyway but for those that see nurses at either Freemasons or RW what is the wait time like?, or is it less personal that a sat clinic?. I dont want to feel like a number iykwim.
I have done numerous amounts of cycles before so I dont think I am going to have trouble re dosage but ultrasounds I will have to travel for.
Thanks
Bec
i did what i could via satellite - but that was really only to pick up meds, first u/s to make sure lining was thin and b/test. All the rest of the scans to see how follies were going had to be done by F/S at freemasons
but you are right - you do build a better rapport with satelite nurses

I go to the satelite clinic in Ringwood and have transfers at Freemasons.
I see my FS at every appointment Ringwood, he's also set up with a room for scans, so does all the cycle and early pg scans, and all my blood tests are also there. He's also the only Dr that does my pick ups and transfers.
Because my FE reside at Royal Womens do I have to have transfers done there?
I miss my Satalite nurse she was always full of information re new experiemental drugs and pushed for my FET's to be Stim drugs with trigger and it worked first time. She could always get my BT back earlier than MIVF nurses by harassing our little local pathology. Oh well I guess it will be the big smoke for us a little less personal but hopefully a good result...Bring on the 13th
