We will be thinking of you!!!
    I've got a good feeling
This is your first healthy transfer isn't it? Or am I thinking of someone else?

So I want your opinions on something...

We were given 95% guarantee of Wyatt being desease free. After he was born we had him tested just incase. The results were supposed to take 10 days. It's been almost 5 months! It seems like the results are lost or something. Should I kick up a stink or retest? (which would involve a trip from CQ to Sydney)

Or should I trust that they got it right when they tested?

Jaki-we were given a 99% chance of ella being uneffected with the cvs and amnio but had her tested at birth with the cord blood being sent to S.A we still havnt got our results either but i am not worried as she has no signs of any SLO symptoms.

Yeah the worrying thing with us is there are no physical indications of having the desease until it strikes

Ask them - you shouldn't have to travel, if they have to they can send a test kit and they can get your gp to do it and send it back.

    HI
    definatley follow up on it!
Its a good idea that you did the test with the cord blood i will do the same next time as i was so worried that we did a blood test at 2 weeks....and came back all clear
can you remind me of the condition that you are testing for?

    MOLISSA: how are you?

Our disease is called chronic granulomatis disease. It's a sex linked immune disease.

Well good news, I tracked them down and it's all clear! I'm still going to email it to our immunologist to have a look and make sure all is in check.

I'm thinking of Molisa also. BT was today wasn't it.
God pleeeeease let this be her time!!

Hi all...Haven't been around in awhile...got extremely frustrated after second pgd...decided there was no way in hell I'd face another round! But, fell pregnant naturally...baby is now 14 weeks and doing well. We are amazed. Who knew after half a dozen miscarriages and two failed pgd cycles. Insane.

Read up on Molisa and Lu... Hope you both are doing well!! It's such a long and hard process...but, we all seem to get there...eventually.

Hi to jaki and foxy! The babes must be as sweet as can be. Hope you're both doing good too!
