I'm on day 5 of the FSh snd nust started the oragultron I can't spell it but it's the ovulation blocker usually I take the lucrin first then the FSh but glad to be doing this short cycle !!
I go for bloods scanss and Accupuncture on friday

Short cycles are the bomb! Sooooo much better than down reg cycles but holy poop that orgalutran in pricey hay!

Ummmm.... Might do a FET this year. We are going to the UK at some point and I don't want to go pregnant. Will also be moving again so need to settle in to another new town.
DH would have already done a fet if it was up to him!

WMM a trip overseas sounds lovely.

Lu how are you feeling? My dose isplanned to be 200 puregon and I am a bit scared cos they keep saying "oh gee that's a high dose" and the plan is to freeze all... Everyone is different though huh!! That's like the mantra of IVF - everyone is different!!

Bf: I'm feeling crappy actully :( I don't know what it is I seem to get cold like systems at the start of the last three cycles.....however this being the worst I thing my dh passed in his lovely bug to me as well but feeling much better now.....

Hey I'm not an expert on numbers but 200 is avg I went up to 300!! Now I'm at225 cN I ask who is saying it's a high dose? Nurses?

You mentioned your with genea right and did they encourage you to freeze all embys b4 testing and do another cycle do the Same etc....???? so there is more embys to test and less cost??? As they have not offered that to me???
Wmm: I didnt have to paynforthe orgAlutran .... They just gave it to me......when I did the other cycle I have to get the lucrin from the chemist $300 later!!!! And only $30 bucks back from the health fund was a joke!!! Did u have to pay for
the org?

Can't wait to hear how you go at the scan on Friday. Fingers crossed for you. Sorry you've got a cold, that is weird that it happens when you're stimming!!

Yep I am with Genea and from the history of the threads I think we have the same FS. I am definitely no expert, but I think as it will be my first cycle and I have quite a lot of follies naturally they are expecting lots of eggs from this dose. I don't know - maybe they're just going for trial and error with me cos it is the first time...

Do you know your follie number?

Yep I think they plan is they will test all the embies fresh and then just freeze the goodies so we will know how many we have on ice, I can have a break of a cycle or two then transfer. God I can't wait.

BF- why do you need a break between the cycle and transfer? I haven't come across that before. But it's been over a year and a half for me so maybe they changed more than just their name ;)

They are planning to stim me to the max but then by having a period in between everything goes back to normal (i.e. I wont overstim) and my lining will be better for a transfer... apparently... remember all this is from the mouth of one who hasn't even had one cycle yet so I don't really know what I'm talking about!!! hehehe!! ;)

Ahh ok, I over stimmed my first cycle. It's the worst thing I've ever been thru, and I only had a reasonably mild case compared to some.

Hi ladies great numbers .... Well for me they were
I had 7 on the right side and 4 on the left
That's double what I had last time!!!!
Must be a combination of the acupuncture, dhea and royal jelly and the short cycle!

But I'm feeling really really sick think I'm a little over stim t better lethal last night,.....
Wmm I did o er stim mild with my first cycle and yes soooo awful!!!!!

Scan went very well yesterday I don't know how but I have 13 on each side now !!!! There are quite a few small ones but still many more than last time !!! I will trigger tonight and EPU will be On thurs!!!
Just really excited but at the same time don't want to get my hopes up iykwim ....

I know what you mean about not getting your hopes up but staying positive can only help! :)

AFM I'm still just waiting for our work up to be completed, we are up to about week 4 of potentially 12, but with Christmas and New Year I'm not sure if that will be pushed back a bit. The patient liaison person (who we both loved, she was so great) said she would call me with an update at 8 weeks.

Will be waiting for your news on Thurs Lu!
