Thanks minniemouse & Bf I feel really crappy today. Woke up with a headache & haven't been able to shake it. Have slept most of the day. Do you think it's just a side effect from the meds?

anyone get ripper headaches on the progesterone pessaries? haven't used them before but been getting killer pain right across the back of my head and they are the only new thing I have been taking

Ohh sweet, hope you had a good sleep last night and are feeling better today? You could be having side effects from the crinone (I am guessing you're on crinone??) - I had AWFUL side effects from that stuff and will never take it again... You could also be dehydrated, have you had plenty to drink? Try warm water or weak herbal teas if you can handle it. If you're going for a fresh transfer you really need to stay as hydrated as possible. If you're still feeling terrible today, I would call the nurses Big XO.

As for side effects on pessaries - nothing compared to crinone. I am only on one per day, but have absolutely no side effects, and had quite severe side effects from crinone.

jbear: hope you are feeling better today, i'd say the headache is from the drugs used in the anaesthetic

joespratt: i haven't had a problem from the progesterone but im sure that is probably a common side effect

brightfuture: when is your next blood test ?


afm: i had my first scan today, last EPU i got 7 and this time i already have 18 follicles growing, mostly around 12mm so by monday i will be ready to pop ! i was hoping they would take me in earlier for EPU but i think they want to push me to get the littler ones to grow more to take them too, its going to be an uncomfortable week !

Hello! I am feeling so much better today thanks for the motherly love and concern BF & Minniemouse! Had heaps of rest and water yesterday, I started the crinone last night so it wasn't that but will let my nurse know if it comes back. Will also up my water intake for trf too :D should get some training on holding my bladder for transfer as I am terrible at that.

BF - how are you feeling? any symptoms for you yet? :loveshower:

Joe i hope those headaches ease up for I've never had any real side effect until this cycle and i do crinone and not pessaries so i couln't say. I think there would be a leaflet on side effects though maybe you check that or ask your nurse?

Gosh I love having BB to chat to you all! We have decided not to tell anyone about this cycle and it's so hard not to talk about it when it's all that's on my mind. Most of my friends are single and don't understand what we are going through and the others have kids & can't relate. So I love you guys and thank you :grouphug:

afm: i was in agony on monday, don't know what was going on but i was thinking there was no way i could go through another week of that pain, funnily enough its been much better the last 2 days but i have been trying to do as little as possible

i had another scan today, i have more than 20 on the left and 4 on the right, thank goodness for the left i say ! although the nurse thinks only 6 of the 20 will fertilise as they are the biggest. so im all set for monday, will be interesting to see what numbers i do get

I am booked for transfer tomorrow eeek! Have one balanced & one that is not big enough for biopsy so will have to see how that one goes.

Jbear: good luck with the transfer :) so you had 8 that were ok for biopsy ? How did you get from 8 to the 2 ? Sorry if I missed that somewhere

Thanks minniemouse unfortunately the rest that were biopsied were unbalanced. I'm just counting my lucky stars that I have at least one.

JBear - we love you too :) So glad you've got an emby to transfer and sending you every sticky vibe. How are you feeling? All recovered from the EPU?

Minnie - how are you going? That is a lot of follies, are you feeling bloated? When are you triggering? The trigger is so exciting!

AFM - no more blood tests! Scan two weeks today and GP next Wednesday. I think I'll ask the GP to do another HCG since I think I'll have to have bloods taken anyway, and it will set my mind at ease a bit (or give me something else to obsess over). I'm feeling pretty OK, very tired and sick feelings come and go. Sore boobs kicked in yesterday. Thanks for thinking of me :)

Hey BF I'm feeling pretty good now thanks. Had transfer today with my one good lil egg : ) then had acu straight after. Trying not to obsess too much now and just focus on being healthy! So yay for no more BT for u and is ur scan at 5 or 6 weeks? I hope this preggo symptoms don't effect u too much x

BF - great news. Congratulations!!!

Just wish I knew already. Not sure if I want to POAS as it might still be a bit early and I'm not sure if I am ready to see a BFN! Haven't heard from the clinic to see when I can go and get a BT so I might just have to obsess a little longer over the weekend and give them a call on Monday. Belly is working overtime, just won't settle and have been getting a bit faint at times. No sore boobies yet which I had with DD but it still might be a bit early for that.

BF: its hard not to obsess isn't it, sounds like you are experiencing some positive signs :)

joe: how many dpt are you now ?

afm: i got some period type pains today and spoke to my clinic, they want me to come in for another blood test and scan tomorrow, thought i was done with those but i guess it won't hurt to have another look around. im feeling a fair bit of discomfort but im taking it really easy.
looking forward to that trigger and then there is no turning back !
