Anyos so sorry about your result yesterday. Hopefully you get some great news today. It does only take one egg! Take care of yourself. If all goes well when will transfer be? Sending you 'fertilisation' vibes! Will be checking in on you later.

Dutchie sometimes the amount of scans gets crazy - my FS is scan mad. I've had dildo-cam more times than I could count. Hooray for the Trigger Shot being done - hope it wasn't too painful, I found that shot to be a biatch. Fingers crossed you will be PUPO by the end of the week?

WLB the pill is evil! It does seem so strange to be taking it. I really struggle on it - last time I crashed my car (just drove straight in to another car) and had many emotional breakdowns (one of the more memorable ones saw me on the kitchen floor crying and screaming "when's it going to be about me!!?) lol!
All the luck in the world for this cycle. What's the plan this time around (if you care to share?) down reg? blasts? meds?

M2C hoping your ovaries are in tip top shape at scan next week. We might be able to be buddies for our next cycles. Let's get pregnant together

Loula I'm around, not TTC right now so not much to contribute on here at the moment. Hopefully will start IVF take 2 in late August/early Sept. Thanks for thinking of me

Hoping your FS can bring some hope to the meeting for you. It is so very unfair to have gone through the stims etc for such a crushing result. Take care and jump in here for support if you need it.

Infinity - Hello sweets, I am not doing anything special this cycle, except a high protein diet, and popping all my vitamins, which I believe improved my egg quality last epu, we r raising my puregon to 450, the highest dose ever, I am going to up the anty with my LP support, and will be pumping myself with every hormone known to man, to try to get a sticky one. Completly understand the emotional meltdown, dh said to me yesterday "your just not yourself are you hun", I said I know "pass me another wine" ha ....

infinity- Yeah for sure, I'm always quietly reading in the PALTTTC thread, watching everyone progress and thinking 'one day' and I remember reading a post from one of the ladies in there, and at the end of her post she was addressing the 'lurkers' and the gals who posted there who weren't actually pg 'yet', saying how they loved others coming in to see how they are going and offering encouragement and support- the more the merrier. I've wanted to jump in there and post now and again but never worked up enough courage

After reading that post, I feel much more comfortable about posting in there while not yet pg myself, should I want to in future. HIH.

BDT- It's nice to hear from you. Not much longer to go until your 12wk scan. I'll be stalking the PALTTTC thread to see how you go. Thinking of you always xx

Dutchie, hope all went beautifully this morning

M2C, BDT, BulieJ, WLB, Infinity, thank you for your messages, I'm so grateful to have found this forum/thread. You're an amazing group of women and I hope that we all have good news soon

AFM spent an hour with my gorgeous FS yesterday and she went through all my results/options etc. Her view seems to be that although I have diminished reserve we're not at the end of the road since the follicles were growing well & hormonal levels were good. She thinks that the trigger may not have been strong enough for me and has seen this before in her patients. She's given us a few options (i) we continue with DHEA for another 6 weeks and then try another cycle, (ii) we continue with a flare-cycle in two weeks or (iii) we try naturally for a few months (she has a few patients who have conceived naturally after a IVF cycle).

I just emailed her a whole list of other questions and hopefully will have some more information by the end of the week. At this stage we're leaning towards going with another cycle straight away and changing the meds/trigger shot. In the meantime I'm doing extra sessions of acupuncture and herbs until I start the drugs again.

I did some research into 'empty follicles' and came across a very interesting response from Dr Sher from SIRM in the US - Infertility hurts: no such thing as empty follicles - would be very interested in your thoughts.
