Hey girl,
Antagonist will be like a flare except instead of taking synarel I will take an injectible med- orgulatron ($100 a pop ) which will stop me Oing. I will also take clomid with the FSH jabs (not sure for how long though) FS said clomid was to help get more eggs. No BCP for me beforehand and extra monitoring. Not sure if it could be advantageous for me or not esp having high fsh to go on the pill before starting, the jury's still out, haven't quite figured it out yet. FS isn't interested so I just go with that for now.
Looks like we'll be cycling very close together again this time and yes, hoping we both have better results this time.
-
WOW sounds like there is ALOT more involved in this cycle for you !
i hope and pray that it all works out perfectly for you sweetie :)
-
Thanks hunni, praying that it works out this time for you too and you get a great haul (and TF) without the OHSS ;)
WLAB- BOL with the jabs. I hope this cycle produces your golden egg.

Buliej, I'm so sorry to hear your news, I have been thinking of you all week and hoped that everything was going smoothly. I hope your FS can give you some answers today and you can move onto the next part of your journey
Loula how are you going? Fingers crossed that the spotting has stopped and your infection is getting better
Dusty, that's fantastic news, hoping that this cycle brings you joy xxx
Infinity, Hope you're well, happy to help, give me a yell if you need any more info re 'natural fertility' I have loads of books/websites/info.
Cpie/Dutchie hope you both are well, looks like we'll all be cycling together in a few weeks. Lets pray that this is the one!
M2C I was thinking of you last week and tried to post on your blog but it just didn't submit properly. Our little angel's birthday/anniversary is coming up in Oct and I know that its a very sad time. Hoping that you're feeling more positive and enjoying a brief rest from ttc :comfort: Btw I used to have the same issues swallowing pills but can chug down around 10 in one go now!
:hello: to WLAB, Holly, Sara and Possums
AFM have a break this month and will start a new cycle first week September. We're finally in court this month for our daughter (we're suing the hospital for medical negligence) and its dredging up a lot of memories. But hopefully the case will be resolved through mediation and we can finally move on. Other than that EVERY close friend in my life is pregnant (of course!), including two of my gay friends as well as my acupuncturist?:wall:

Hi all just a quick post to let you know that my levels have not increased very far. they are susspecting another ectopic (without tubes i dont know how?) they have risen 227 from 180 last Thursday so in the nurses words "things are not looking very good"
I spoke with a nurse that was so horrid to me last week and told me that complications after a confirmed pg are not the issue of the clinic but of your local GP!!!
we are going to look at treatment for infertility after infections with a Dr in NY. he is the only one who actually listens to what my body is telling me.
However i also have an appointment with Lynn B on Thursday. also when my next Bt is!
feeling really down, lost and confused

Loula sorry to hear that things aren't progressing well. I'm hoping that there's still a chance that things could improve for you  Its such a long, heartbreaking journey and I know sometimes its hard to remain positive. There's probably not much I can say that will change the way you feel but my thoughts and prayers are with you. :comfort:
-
Oh Lou
I don't understand how they can call it an ectopic without tubes?
I just can't believe they're continuing to fob you off & not give you any direction with their answers......
I'm so, so sorry xxx
Have sent you a text - I can give you a call after I finish teaching tonight if you need a vent xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
-
Buliej - I'm really sorry to hear your news.
-
Hey girls, just a quickie as I have to rush out.
Loula- I'm so sorry to hear they suspect an ectopic, it's just so unfair sometimes and how rude of that nurse to speak to you in that way esp given what you're going through. I hope you find some answers very soon. BOL talking to the dr in NY sounds like he listens to you which is what you want in a doctor in our situations, certainly helps. Take care
anyos- Yes looks like we'll be cycling very close together, we'll be cycle buds too :crossfingers: for us both. It's hard when everyone around you is pg, I'm a bit the same atm my sister recently announced she's pg with her first. I'm ok about it now although I was sad at first, looking forward to becoming an aunty in 7ish months (she invited me to her first scan which I was chuffed about) Wishing you the best for your court case, I hope you can resolve it quickly so you can move forward and concentrate on YOU getting up the duff ;)
Seems there's quite a few of us who have cycles coming up or have just started so just thought I'd spread some :bluedust: :pink-babydust: and :stickyvibesboy: :stickyvibesgirl:
:hello: to M2C, infinity, buliej, Dusty, CPie, Holly and WLAB, sorry if I've missed you, there are so many of us now which is great

Thank you everyone for your very kind words and thoughts. Well, after a scare this morning - based on a funny looking thing in the wrong place on 1 u/s - that it may be ectopic requiring immediate surgery and having 2 internal ultrasounds where they pushed and prodded around for AGES, they decided to wait to call it as they finally saw a very small sac (way too small for dates) in the right place. BUT, then later this afternoon they received my blood test results from this morning and the FS has declared it officially a miscarriage as they barely moved from Friday. She is hoping I m/c naturally as she'd prefer that I not have a 3rd d&c if it can be avoided - she's giving me until Monday. If it doesn't m/c naturally by then, back into the hospital for the procedure. In any event on Monday we will also be discussing plans for next cycle and at least DH can make that appointment - he couldn't make today's. Whichever way it works out, I will try to collect what I can so that it can be analyzed to see if it is another trisomy.
I would love to do personals for everyone, but don't have it in me at the moment - just too mentally drained.
But Loula - I really hope it's not an ectopic - and I too don't understand how that could be possible given the no tubes thing. I'm so sorry that you are going through this and that you are being treated so poorly. I really disagree with the clinic's approach - you are their patient and they should be trying to make sure you get the best care - isn't that part of the dr's oath? Anyway, if that is their opinion, for your peace of mind in the future, maybe it makes sense for you to book in with an OB now, have 1 appointment so that you are their established patient, then as soon as you are pregnant, you have an expert to immediately see. I've done this with another medical thing that didn't at all require seeing a specialist at the moment. But I spoke to my GP and she agreed that as my issue is ongoing, it made sense for me to establish a relationship with a top specialist so that if it ever becomes something that requires immediate attention, I have someone who will see me as an established patient. This was really good, because the dr I wanted to see had a 7 week wait and if it had been urgent, I would not have had my first choice specialist. Now I have a relationship with her - and she was fantastic, didn't object at all to my seeing her as a precaution.
Anyos - it stinks to be surrounded by pregnant people - I feel like that all the time - even in the FS waiting room there are all these pregnant people.
I need to log back on later to get to everyone - hopefully, later tonight.

Loula- i am so sorry that they think it might be eptopic :( its so unfair and so devastating! i "THINK" smithy ( hope you dont mind smithy if i talk about your situation) had an eptopic and she had no tubes either, her little angel baby had implanted on the nub ( i cant think of the term smithy used) where her tube use to be. i am thinking of you and hope and pray that the doctor in NY will bring you your very much wanted and loved forever baby xxx
anyos- i hope you are doing ok? i cant imagine what you are going through right now with the court case and the feelings that its bring back :( if you need to talk i am always here xxx your little girl would be very proud of her mummy for sticking in there and not letting the hospital get away with what they did!! i think you are a very brave and inspiring woman :)
a big Hello to everyone else, hope you are doing well. it really is going to be a very busy august, september in here, there are quite a few of us cycling in these months :) its great! this thread will be busy busy busy
-
Julie, sending you my thought and prayer also. its just too hard to breath right now but i hope to find strength soon, im sorry that you had to go through this, and that DH was unable to be with you today at the appointment. I hope things will start to happen for you this week so you can avoid the D&C.
I am going to push for a D&C as i would like then to test my endomitium again. this i hope with give me another clue and get the FS to wake up to what is happening.
-
Loula and Julie, I have typed and deleted over and over again, I cannot eloquently write a post that describes how I want to support you both right now
-
I was so sad to log back in and read your news buliej, I am sincerely very sorry for your loss I can not imagine how hard it must be right now. I'm hoping that you can avoid a 3rd d&c so you don't have to go through even more than you already are. Take as much time as you need to grieve and look after yourself and DH, you need and deserve you and DH time during this draining and very hard time in your lives atm. I'm thinking of you hun :grouphug:
M2C- I just noticed from a previous post and your siggy you are starting BCP on the 27th (I'm a bit slow :asleep:)- great day that's my b'day, my last year in my twenties :shhh: hehe :goodluck: :crossfingers: :goodluck: for you.

Too much sad news at the moment - I am sending my prayers and love to you all.
Had my trigger tonight, egg collection is Wednesday morning. Have about 25 follicles bigger than 10mm so am looking for a big haul of eggs hopefully without getting OHSS again though - I dont think I could handle another 4 night stay in hospital like last year! Had a problem with my progesterone levels and the clinic werent sure i should have a transfer but I think we are going to go ahead with it anyway.
