Melbel - Ohhh how wonderful, congratulations tears of joy

Possums - clexane is so fine. you will bruise a bit more than usual. Looks bad but doesn't hurt. I put in under my little pot belly so I didn't have to look at it all the time. I was worried about it too, but no problem at all. slightly bigger needle than FSH (who designs these things anyway!) but the number of rounds I/we have done it is no big deal. You will be fine, the crinone annoys me more! I always did it in morning to get it out of the way and I didn't have to think about it all day. hope that helps

trea - welcome, wow what a journey. only can say that both hypnosis and seeing an intuitive healer have both given me comfort at different times and helped me. I went to see Sacks, thought he was good but I don't have the NK+. I have very proactive FS in Melb. I have had 7 biochemicals. FS's all say it is my age and numbers game. Great.

AFM - feeling a bit better each day. coming off the steroid always gets me down, so am just taking it really easy. big family party today, sister's 40th. Argument with mum yesterday, great, she doesn't know. Have found something to wear that will hide my swollen tummy a bit, so that is good. URK

LOL . so fat for just a few days.
just tell people you're getting fat and they'll shut up right away then. LOL i am only joking.

trea: welcome , look forward to watching and helping you thru this journey

AFM: well nothing new, still waiting for something to happen. i need to book in to see FS, havn't done it yet. part of me is scared to do it all again. but it won't stop me.

MsPink - thanks sweetie. yes good problem to have! Feel so much better today. thinking of you.

JBM - yes LOL. Used that fat excuse yesterday! They said I looked good, must have been the hair, all about the hair. You'll feel good when you have the FS plan in place. Your endo must have said OK to go?

AFM - Going to the tennis this afternoon! cool. With georgeous friends who are visiting from california. So hot in Melb 37.
Sorted with Mum - tick. Sorted with DH - tick. we have plan in place. he thinks we may as well go for it with FET D3 each month (where possible), numbers game. got 12 frosties. use up whatever thaws OK, maybe 8 based on history. OK why not. Its a big experiment anyway. take break end of march for a bit of travel. So got a plan, I like a plan. Round it up to 20 goes, actually I have lost count, then that's it. OK good. Am going to look after myself emotionally. Going to book things, maybe meditation, massage now and then, pedicure, blowdry, facial. Become high(er) maintenance!

    ms pink: hi to you
samandpoppy: you're so funny, i love the thing " become high maintenance" my DH would say we are already. men !
it's so good to have a plan, go for it with the FET and as you said why not. i am sending you some big best wishes and pray for a sticky one out of all those lovely frostys.

afm: i have been on some herbal stuff from my acupuncture/ naturopath lady for a month now and i feel good. i usually am pretty regular with AF ( every 28 or 29 days or so) so that apparently makes it easier. i still havn't booked yet, i'll prob do it late next week when hopefully life gets back to normal, if my life ever is normal that is.

samandpoppy - Hope you had a great time at the tennis - I hope all goes well with your plan of attack - I think we all agree that life feels a little easier on this rollercoaster when you have a plan.

Hope everyone else has had a good week.

AFM - I have been enjoying the past week not having to think about babymaking, but have my first blood for FET #3 on Weds. I would do anything to not have the anxiety building up for a process I have so little faith in.
I even bought a whole pineapple (and I hate pineapple!) trying to do something to help the little one stick.

Does anyone else have moments where they feel better with the idea that even though they won't have a baby, they will have their life back if you don't have to do this anymore? One of the nurses at the clinic I go to said that lots of women feel comfort in ending the process because they don't have to think about it anymore - I thought she was crazy but the last week I kind of understand.

lairdoz: heres praying for a successful FET this month. yes it is a bit tiring, which is why i took a break last year in march and i ran out of frostys too. it is just so hard emotionally and physically. i hope you don't stress too much and have heaps to do during the TWW. good luck to you.

    hi girls, to everyone else.

afm: well i am doing nothing today, well not nothing, that would be nice but i am not going any where today, i am just staying at home. DH wants me to do some emails and ph calls but thats it. i am trying to lose a little weight before i start IVF/ ICSI next cycle all over again so i can give my body the best chance.
i lost 11 cm since 1st jan. and that inc 2 cm of waist and 3 cm off abs. woohoo
i sort of started trying to be healthy in july last year and since then i've lost 15 cm off abs and 6 cm off waist. so i need to keep up the good work.
    chat soon my lovelies

Hi JBM and Possums - opps I mixed you up sorry, possums good luck tomorow w Endo

JBM - yes very addictive the BB. Well done for all those cms!!! I think I found a few over Christmas. Did go for walk yesterday so have started back down again. The IVf is very good excuse not to stick to my program!!

Hi Kenyan - yikes, that's many needles of injections - but you won't care when you have that lovely baby.

Lairdoz - tennis interesting. mostly badly dressed people in the outer! exercise for stress! Its the only thing that works for me. I have to remind myself all the time "what you focus on gives you your life". anxiety and depression are listed as a side effects of IVF, no kidding! and yes I think about when I stop lots now. I did stop, actually, then had to deal with that. not very well as I started again! that was my last stim though. over it. DD is nearly 4. I've spent her years 1-4 giving my energy to something that isn't her. but for her too. what a minefield!

AFM - have had hormonal headache yesterday and today, and AF arrived. I don't think I can go straight to FET, will check with Doc tomorrow. Got a lovely note from him saying don't be too upset as similar success rate from frozen and fresh. Good on him.
Got a new laptop today!!! is an 11inch screen, one of the bigger net books, how sw anky! Also bought GPS, as keep getting lost. work pays so very fun spending work money!! Yeah!

Samandpoppy - I know what you mean about stopping, then starting again. I have days where I am happy to stop, then other days where I want this to work. Wish I had got a note, the only notes I get from the clinic come with a request to please pay within 30 days

JBM - Yeah it doesn't seem fair that the process gets us fat, especially the whole bloated tummy thing! Have you booked in to see your FS yet?

Hope everyone else had a great week and looking forward to the weekend.

AFM - Nothing exciting, just waiting for transfer on Tuesday which now I get to stress about whether the embryo will thaw. Another of my best friends told me she is pregnant she is pregnant today. Feel really happy for her as she has always wanted kids (first month of trying with new boyfriend) but just a bit ****ed that for each of my latest three IVF cycles I have had a close friend/sister tell me they are pregnant either a couple of days before transfer or just before the BT.

Thanks JBM - that is very sweet of you. Have been feeling pretty negative as my sister just formally announced her pregnancy today which I am happy for her, but still have two pregnancy announcements to get through from my two close friends! Hormones are getting a bit better so feeling much better today but the progesterone starts tonight, so it's back to anxiety central!

The weather here is gorgeous today (and it is usually to be honest) so have been out in the garden appreciating what we have - hope you have all had a great weekend ladies.

Lairdoz- pregnancy announcements are hard. Fingers crossed for you

afm- the specialist appt went well on friday...we really like her. Mixed results. My thyroid levels are now too low, and we need to have them stable in the normal range for three months before we can resume TTC. So, I am reducing my meds now and hopefully in a month I'll be in the right range, and all going well, in four months or so we can resume TTC...I hope so! Behave body!
The positive is, the low levels is actually a sign the graves might be going into a remission which would be great.
The antibodies and the risks they pose are still there (she ran through all that stuff again, which is always sobering)...I will find out the latest antibody results in another week or so.
So at least we have some direction to go on now.
We are going to take a month's holiday in April and hopefully by sometime in May we'll be able to start trying again!

JBM- hope you are well, thanks for all the messages of support x

oh, and I am very excited to now have an avatar! yay- thanks to whoever RAKed me! very honoured and touched someone did that for me

Hi Girls, Hope you are all well!

AFM - feel tired today. was v anxious going to FS yesterday. Turned out OK. He wants us to do natural FET's for a couple of cycles. so no extra drugs which will be good. Good news is that we are going to sneak in a holiday for 3 weeks in between. yeah going to california, DH has always wanted to go.

S&P glad that your appointment went well amd YAY on the holiday, i so needed them when we were TTC but couldnt aford both! i hate the way it does that sometimes so good on you two for getting away, and to the states YAY again ive only been to flordia

Possum, i glad too that your appointmment went well too and and pray that your levels stable ready for TTC again, i want to let you know my SIL in now 27 weeks pg with her first after 6 years of graves, it was not dx for a long time. she is feeling good and the pg has been uneventful medically, so i may even think that once this is stable it is your time hun. and another going on a holiday too, im going to get jelous ladies, but hope to go home to the UK next year.

Lairdoz, PG announcement have always been hard, my DH is from a family of 5 and there are always new bundles of joy arriving, and often SIL are pg together, 5 of the grandchildren are born on my angels due dates and the same year so its hard for my to look at them sometimes and think what could have been. getting back to nature helps me to and although i love being in the garden, DH often complains i just cut and run leaving him with the mess hehehe

JBM, waiting sucks will be watching this space!

Sorry i have not been in often to offer support, but i do often read. Best wishes

Hi to WLAB, and MsP sending love
