Hi Bee
enjoy a bit of 'you' time - it can be fun playing with new 'toy'
then hit the study ...what are you studying ?
Thanks for your warm wishes and kind thoughts gals.. Trish i took some opsites and dressing packs from work just incase, lucky as the incision site over my navel has been bleeding.. luckily the stitiches hand't popped, but i was able to dress it and patch it up.. and yes they do get bloody itchy!!!
I don't think it is severe endo, it is just hard to get at to clean it up, hence a futher op with a bigger incision, probably be in hospital for a few days early next year some time. Unfortunatley we will have to delay our holiday a bit and reschedule next lot of IVF until about June next year!!
Oh well, might get lucky and fall pregnant before now and then, but in saying that BDing is the last thing on my mind at the moment!!! LOL!! I am very sore down below, heaven knows what he clamped me open with? A log!!! LOL :D
ok chickie babes take care love and hugs
leis xx
I'm pleased to hear that your operation went well Leis - hopefully at your follow-up on Tuesday, you'll get good news. Sorry to hear that you'll need a further op for the patches of endo on your bowel and bladder though. I had some patches of endo many years ago.....but it was only discovered whilst having a lap done for an ovarian cyst!
I hope you aren't in pain for too much longer - it can be a bit uncomfortable huh? Take care of yourself.
Hellooooooooooooooo? Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me... is there anyone home?
Good luck for your appt on Tues Leis.
Trish - hope you get good news with your phone call today! Will have fingers crossed for you tomorrow.
Bee - good luck with your study & exams. I'm being rather pathetic and procrastinating as usual!!
Sue - am thinking of you petal!! fingers crossed
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!
Back to the books...
Cheers!

Hi everyone
Just wanted to wish Bee luck for tomorrow with that 2nd beta. Hope you can get some answers.
Good luck Trish for tomorrow as well with your transfer. Hope you get the results you want today.
Hey, Blue, is your first exam tomorrow?
Hope you're recovering from your op Leis. At least you have some answers now.
Hi to everyone else.
Love
Sue
:luck: :luck:
Soooooooooooooooooo Suzi, do we get an update on YOU???
Leis, hope everything turns out well after the op. and that you are feeling better today.
TrisH, Best of luck for transfer tomorrow. My sister is also having a transfer tomorrow (her first transfer - they got 9 eggs and 8 have fertilised with ICSI, so they are very happy). Her name is Trish too so the woman upstairs will be getting lots of prayers for two Trish's in the next few weeks. [-o<
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend, I can say that mine's been great.
Good lucks out to Bee & Trish for tomorrow.
Leis, laps can knock you around a bit. I always figured it was from them poking & proding around to see what they could find. And must be rough because of the pain & bruising. I had my endo removed while they were in there.
It's been 2 1/2 weeks since my lap & I'm not thinking about BDing yet either. Maybe soon though ........
Sue, how're you going? Hope you have quite made it round that bend, lol. Have to check the front page, can't remember your BT date, must be soon.
Blue, hope the week of exams goes well, been a few years for me now since I've done one & definantly don't miss them at all.
Take care
goodluck for beta tomorrow Bee - thinking of you
thanks Anney I will keep your sister -Trish -in my thoughts too
no news so all must be okay - [-o<
Hi girls... off to sydney today for app't tomorrow. I hope everyone is doing ok and taking it easy... Trish that was quiet amusing about what you wanted to ask the minister.. Minister always seem to have heaps of kids. Our last next door neighbours were parstors and they had 4 kids and the minister that married DH and I had 4 kids also. It is a nice thought that he is asking you to write a few words about Charlotte.
Well me being the typical nurse, has been thinking non stop about my operation and how they are going to do it. I am assuming that due to the bladder wall being so thin they are going to do a ceasar incision (or maybe not as big) and remove the bowel and bladder and clean it up. Can hardly wait to be catheterised. Really looking forward to it... (not)
Anyway i shouldn't sit here and think about it, will know all the details tomorrow and will fill you all in tomorrow night.
love leis xx
Leis
all the best ....
I hope you get good news honey - and it isn't too scary for you - they can do so much through laproscopy these days - I thought that was way they did it all - did they say they that

Hi Ladies. Trish, hope all went well today. Leis, hope you are resting up and good luck with your appt tomorrow. Hi to Blue, Anney, Sush, Tam, Keen and Sue. I got a result of 33 back today up from 8 last Thursday so biological only and have to test again on Thursday and monitor until it starts to drop. Off to search on the internet to find some info...
Hi bee,
I hope I don't sound silly asking this but if your HCG doubled every 48 hours, could there not be a chance that it's viable?
love
sushee
A good question Sush, could there be late implantation.
I guess I'm just questioning this also because mine must have done the same thing
Hi Sush,
Well, not according to the nurse I spoke to. She said it was just nuisance factor for me because I had to keep being monitored until the levels start to drop, which they could take up two weeks to do. She said if the levels jumped greatly from the 8 last Thursday it could be possible but since I'm just gradually inching up and up... To be honest, I haven't got a clue so any suggestions, good, bad or otherwise, would be fantastic.
Bee, huh?
How can it possibly go up if it's hcg they're measuring??? I don't get it either!!! Sounds like if it's going up, something must be making it go up? You're not taking Pregnyl any more.
Sue
Hi Bee I agree with the girls it is very confusing but it sounds like it has done exactly what it should by doubling every 48 hours, if there was no HCG it wouldnt have doubled would it? I am definately confused and I hope you get some more answers when you have the next test.
Trish I hope everything went well for you =D>
Leis they probably can do it by laproscope than laparotomy, good luck let us know how you go
Suzi Q how are u going in the 2WW I hope you are well
Blue, Magic, Sushee, Keen and Confusedegg hope you are all well
As for me I have been jabbing for a few days and it is making me quite ill, I have never had puregon before and its making me very nauseous, I read on the pamphlet that it is one of the side effects, did anyone else feel like this on the puregon?. Well I am having the ultrasound on friday so hopefully the nausea and bloating and tiredness are all there for a good reason,
Cheers
Cassie
It sounds sensible to me about Bee's beta too - 8 - 16 - 32 - there is a website somewhere about beta's
Cassie - do you prefer or Shazey ?
I felt nauseous a bit somedays - like :msick: but only intermittently - hope you are feeling okay - sounds awful but worth it if get pregnant.
LOL the tiredness (or in my case laziness with a good excuse) my DH upset my brother by :gossip: telling SIL all the things he does to help me -not why (I am so embarassed - they asked what did I do ?? he doesn't do ironing :) ) Bro got defensive and said how long & hard he works ... SIL is so jealous.
but I do feel exhausted -but he thinks I am just playing on BB.
I copied this from other thread ...
I now have 2 hatched blastocysts on board - no frozen embryos though - this one is going to work so won't need any !
I have 2 weeks to my beta though - or maybe I will POAS if I feel the time is right....
BTW - I read a post somewhere about some brand of tiddle sticks changing - so be careful ladies - something about you now need 2 lines and a + sign now ...
Hi Sushee - we love you popping in :flower: not long till you find out P or B
:girl: is my guess (are you telling :gossip: anyone) or will it be a surprise :cheer: :confetti:
Hi , Trish thanks for the info I left a message for you in the other LTTC forum, I know these two little embies are going to work, good luck for the 2WW
My friend gave me some fertlity bangles today so hopefully they will help, it worked with her and she is pregnant with twins now (Hi Tiff).
I dont mind Cassie or Shazey whatever anyone puts is fine.
Hi girls,
Sue emailed me and has asked me to post on her behalf. Her beta today came back at under 5, which sadly is considered a -ve. Also AF seems to be on and off, so the clinic has virtually said it's all over for her.
She's a strong chick, our Sue, and this has given her hope, despite the sad news. But until she's ready to come back and talk about it, she's asked me to let you all know how she's going.
I hope you have a good rest in the meantime, SuziQ.
Love
sushee
Oh Sue, I am so sorry to hear your news. Take all the time that you need - you will be in my thoughts.
Bee - it sounds as though your HCG is doing what it should be doing. If it's a chemical PG then it shouldn't be continuing to rise - it should be dropping.......
Sue sorry to hear the results, please know that my thoughts are with you and please take all the time you need, I didnt realise it was time for your HCG.
Have a good rest, looking forward to you returning soon
Awww, bugger Sush. I'm so sorry Sue and if you pop in for a look - and know that I'm thinking of you.
Sue - so sorry  Here for you if you need!
Hi girls, just a quick post before hitting the books again.
Bee - Hope your levels continue to climb. Maybe a late bloomer?
Shazey - what sort of bracelets are they? might have to get me some of those!
Trish - hope your embies burrow in and get comfy! :bluestick:
Hi to everyone.
cheers
H
Sue, shame about the result, glad there is a little hope in there. How long til you're back at work? I hope you have some time to yourself you go back. Big hugs to you.
Trish, hoping your little embies are busy finding a warm cosy spot.
Shazey, can't help you on the yuck feelings, Puregon didn't affect me. Not sure if I'm one of the lucky ones.
Heather, hope things are going well, can't remember when your u/s is
Bee, chin up on the wait til Thursday
Take care

Hi Marg, nice to see you here, hope your cycle has treated you good so far.
Hi Marg
welcome to BB
goodluck with OPU - you are nearly at end of cycle - how are you feeling at the moment
Firstly Suziq.. I am so sorry.. I know that nothing i can say will make you feel better, but i am thinking of you. Marg welcome on board and we hope your stay is short and sweet.
Well back from the Dr's in sydney today. Well the first thing he said was, 'very unusual, like nothing i have seen before', but 'not unusual in a bad way'. I have bizarre endo type lesions/?fibroids on my tubes/bladder and a acutely anteverted uterus. Basically i am a gynealogical FREAK!!! My gynea is going to do some more surgery, but as assistant and with Dr Michael Cooper as the surgeon. Apparently he is the King of gynea in Australia. Head of obs and gobs at both RPA and St Vinnies, and also head lecturer at Sydney Uni. So lets hope he can come to the party with all the letters and accreditations after his name.. anybody with any details on this Dr would be appreciated if you could let me know. He has his own website which i checked out.. seems good. I know my gynea wouldn't put me into the hands of someone nasty !!!
Surgery will be done sometime next year.
Anyways enough about me, hope everyone is doing ok.. love and hugs always leis xx
Leis, seems I felt a bit the same when I had my 2 pgs, had a few different drs looking at me because it was 'different', but it felt good in a way because I knew I was getting a lot of good attention & would be done right. Hope you feel the same.
What's the go for in between now & surgery?
Hi Tam
The go between surgery and now, is nothing, i just want to forget about IVF and TTC for the moment. I am the type of person who doesn't like any type of stress. I know that TTC and IVF will always be in my mind, but i don't want to get infactuated with it all and have it ruling my life. I am just about to start my perioperative nursing certificate through the college of nursing in Dec, so that will take up alot of time.
My report also said that, there is very little chance of us conceiving naturally, although it is possible (like a bloody miracle) whilst my tubes are in this state. Although they are messy on the outside with adhesions etc, suprisingly they are still patent... Hah? work that out????
And yes Tam, I do feel good knowing that i have both the Drs fussing over me. I also feel that because of my situation I will always stick in my gyneas head and that i will never be the average Jo Blow pt of infertility to him!!!!
love and hugs leis xxx
Welcome aboard Marg. I've added your details for you. :)
Hi guys, just popping in to say hi to you all.
Recently I have been appointed as a moderator for you all, so with the mods that you know better I'll be here too.
As long as you'll have me that is????
Great to have you aboard Kirsty!
Hi girls.
Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself too, as I've also been added as a moderator for this forum.
For those of you that don't know me, I'm Cherie. My DH and I have been TTC for about 12 months now, and I've been recently diagnosed with PCOS. DH has a low sperm count and a high number of abnormal sperm. We're starting the Clomid rollercoaster next cycle, and DH is doing research into how to make his spermies grow up nice and big and strong.
I've still got my moderator training wheels on, so please be patient with me lol. Looking forwards to getting to know you all a bit better.
:pdust:
Welcome to you too Cherie!!!
Hi Kirsty and Cherie
Welcome to our quiet little world. We're a genuinely kind and supportive lot in this forum.
Of course we'll have you both!!!
Cherie, LOL at you and your mod training wheels. What do they attach to? Like you, I also have a huge interest in aromatherapy, I got my certificate in 2001. I hope your TTC journey will be short, good on DH for doing his homework! That can be half the battle sometimes. He's a keeper.
Sue
Hi girls
Just wanted to thank you all for your kind words.
I'm doing fine.
[-X Never underestimate the resilience of a LT AC'er.
Meeting with my specialist on Thursday afternoon. Will probably take a summer break along with Tam and Leis.
But, I'll still be in here to check on and provide support to you all.
Take care
Love
Sue
