How are you going Sue? I've missed you around the forums!!!
Hi Mel
I'm doing ok.
I walked into a bit of trouble when I went back to work, even though I had a medical certificate. There was a huge about-face when my manager found out why I was a way so things have settled again. It was the last thing I needed.
My puter has been out of action for 3 weeks - just got it back today. I think it's been a blessing in disguise though. I've decided I've reached the end of the TTC road now. So, I probably won't be around much - I'll still be checking in sometimes. Just a bit too difficult emotionally atm.
Time to plan that big OS holiday for next year.
Hope all is well with you.
Love
Sue
Oh Sue, that sucks. It sounds like you've really had a rough trot lately....
Are you certain about your decision? Wow.....that's definitely a HUGE decision isn't it. Whatever decision you make, I hope you stay around the forums because you've been wonderful here - and I for one don't want you to go! Of course I understand and appreciate the emotional aspects of that too and if you need your own time and space, then that's what you need to do - as you say, take care of your heart.
thanks guys
just not getting too excited until the actual beta, still getting cramping and headaches so the witch may be still on her way, I will let you all know on wed or thurs how it goes with the beta, please keep your fingers and toes crossed, I felt confident earlier today but not feeling as confident now as I am feeling these cramps, hopefully its from the crinone and not the witch, if anything happens before the beta I will let you all know
Shazey - will keep fingers crossed for more good news on your beta!!
Sue - Good to see you back petal!! Hope computer is feeling better. Dont be a stranger tho!
Thanks Bee for your wishes. Hope you're doing ok.
cheers
h
Shazey, I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you...although it is a bit hard to type :D

BLUE SKY: :crossfingers: :luck: Fingers crossed for BFP and scan is all ok.
MARG: :crossfingers::luck: G’Luck with BFP!! Lets hope we all have a BFP for xmas..
Thank you for your kind wishes. I have caved in with mud cake, but don’t over indulge, need something to keep me sane.. Understand what you mean with HPT’s finding their way to your trolley.. I already have mine for Saturday this week. LOL.. I will be 14dpo.
SHAZEY: I was thinking of you and wondering how you were with your 2ww. Fingers crossed for definite confirmed BFP and hoping you will be sitting with Trish in PAML. Hope you enjoyed your camping. Congrats on your healthy twin god children. :cheer: :bfp: :cheer: :crossfingers: :luck:
SUZIQ: Hope you are keeping well. Poor thing.. It sux for you, to hear that things went about faced when you got back to office and all your reasons for taking time off were revealed & to hear that you’ve had to make that difficult decision of not continuing your road of IVF. Hello ladies,
this is my first time on this forum, so quite nervous. I'm currently going through the two week wait from hell. I've got all the symptoms that go hand in hand with both pregnancy and progesterone over load. I'm sure I'm going mad imagining that every twing or ache is my period coming or implantation pains. My last IVF cycle failed but this wait is much woese this time. Any advice?
Hi guys thank you all for your wonderful support and wishes but I think its all over this cycle
I have been cramping and headaches for a few days and just felt like AF was going to arrive, I did two more HPT's a crystal clear and a fortel and they have both come up :bfn: I rang the clinic this morning hoping to get an early HCG but all they would give me was a progesterone level, like thats going to tell me anything, I am trying to be positive but surely two different brands of HPT's cant be wrong
shazey: sorry to hear about the BFN's - I'll still keep my fingers crossed for you until beta. :crossfingers:
Not so good news here. AF arrived today. Knew it was coming coz of the rotten headache I had all night (that is still hanging on today). I have a 2 day work conference Tue & Wed - I think I'd rather just be curled up in my bed.
Marg
Thanks Marg
Sorry to hear AF has arrived, I agree with you curling up in bed sounds like a great idea, unfortunately I dont think my boss will be to understanding if I rang in sick
Look after yourself, I know what you mean about headaches I have had one for a couple of days which is really starting to annoy me.
What is the next step for you with regards to TTC do you have to wait until the new year?
I'm definitely going to take a break. It's such an emotional rollercoaster I think I just need to chill out for a few weeks and then I'll have a chat with the Clinic in Jan about my next step. I also want to work on my health and fitness over the next couple of months and there is a local Naturopath I'm going to book into see. I also think a few days away over the Chrissy break might be nice - try and recharge the batteries a little bit.
Marg
SHAZEY: So sorry that the HPT had done a turn around on you and not looking so great. I have my :crossfingers: for :bfp: on your beta. :luck:
MARGOZ: it’s a real bummer when the darn witch shows up. It is an emotional roller coaster ride and too financially rich for my liking.. Heres to a great chrissy for you. May you have better results next year when you return to IVF cycle.
Sararms: Hi & welcome to BB,
If its not bad enough that we go through a physical/emotional and financial crisis that there is a 2ww thrown in there also with IVF.
My only advice is that take something to help ease the pain (pregnancy safe) and relax. I know its easier said than done. I am in 2ww. My beta is 12/12.
When was your transfer and when is your beta?
Keep us updated on your progress and take care of yourself and Gluck with BFP. :crossfingers: :luck:
ME: This month i do not feel is the month for me. I know i am only early for i am 9dpo, but i have no preg symptoms to give me something to think about. If it is BFN this cycle, i will ask about injections instead of capsules. If no can do.. then i will reconsider whether or not i will dice the last egg or continue HRT FET. decisions decisions...
Good morning to you all
Shazey, hang in there, never trust those HPT, they'll do strange things to you. When is your BT.
Marg, bugger on AF. enjoy the break, I think Christmas is the best time for it.
Chris, get back to positive thoughts, do something nice for yourself (or get DH to do it).
Sararms, welcome to you, same goes for you & the positive thoughts.
Bee, thinking of you this week, not much can be said but take care of your self
Heather, please let us in on your secret. Hope it's all good
Sue, big hugs for you. Take your time but here for you in any case/direction.
I'm ok, just really busy, which is good. I still have had no AF visit since my m/c, I figure it was the really high hcg (it took 3 weeks to get back to baseline). I am spewing a bit because it means it'll get further into Jan that I start again. Though I'm 99% sure I won't get tempted to cycle again when AF does come soon.
Take care guys. Christmas is soooooooo close.
Hi guys just wanted to let you all know that the cycle is officially over, had my progesterone done yesterday which was 19.1, had beta today :bfn: so not sure whether my TTC journey is over dont know if I can keep going through this,
I would like to thank you all for your support, good luck and I hope all your dreams and wishes come true
I am now going to go and have a nice rest and reevaluate everything, Im just waiting for DH to come home so we can discuss what and if we do anything else
Shazey, that is a shame, big hug for you & DH. Take your time.
TAM: I may not sound as though i have positive thoughts but i do.. I dont want to quit, but i also want a happy marriage.. Poor DH cops it all the time when i am on oral hormone medication and i cant handle my moods and feeling sick.. The clinic know this and all i am saying is that if i they cant help by changing my meds to injections, i will have to change clinics that will, or cease TTC by IVF. Meds are way too much for me to cope with. IYKWIM. I had no symptoms NOTHING when on injections, including when i fell preg. It was the best feeling.
SHAZEY: Hoping everything works out to the way you want it. If we dont hear from you before hand.. I wish you and DH a merry xmas and the bestest 2006.
Chris,
I do my FET by injections and then trigger like a stim, and have transfer day 3.
They made me do without the trigger the first time ( messing around with BT) and then after alot of pursuading let me trigger the second and ended up with bubs.
So much better...I go crazy on bcp
Bec
Hi Bec
Thanks for your post, you have given me some hope, just wondering if they can do this for 5 day blasts. Would it be more fiddly with timings and not overstim.
Which clinic are you with? And if its ok? Is it more expensive to do medicated HRT with injections? I would believe it would be.
I don’t mind with messing with BT.. I hate needles, but hate the side effects of the oral meds more.. IYKWIM.
What does BCP stand for?
Thanks again Chris
Shazey
I am so sorry for BFN -I hope you can continue on this journey.Take care of your heart.
with hope
Trish
Chris, which oral meds are you taking?
BCP is birth control pills.
I'm glad you are positive, I found by the end of my first year with nothing happening I was starting to lose it a bit, but now have a renewed sense of hope for the new year.
TAM:
I am on estridiol capsules. I HATE them with a passion.
BCP-I spent 3 months on them and did nothing for me at all.
So they introduced injections to me and responded...
Chris
Chris,
I'm with MIVF in Vic, my IVF nurse put me on to this cycle. It was trial about 12 months ago.I did pay for my injections and trigger, but it is under PBS, or claimable if you have PHI extras.
Bec
Shazey - I'm so sorry to hear about your BFN.
Hi Bec
I am with SIVF Newcastle. When i go for BT, thinks i might ask if we can try something different.. ie FET with injections instead of oral meds.
Thanks for your help.
Regards Chris
Shazey huge hugs to you on your recent BFN.
Hi all,
I've been away for about a week on hols and just wanted to come in and see how everyone's going. I've missed a few posts, I'm sure, but wanted to give Bee a huge :hugs: and a :crossfingers: for the next cycle. I'm sad too about how things have panned out, but am equally hopeful for the future.
And shazey, I'm so sorry about the BFN hunny. I know how hard it is. Take care of yourself and your DH.
Well, I'm back at work as of Monday so will be lurking again. I hope to catch up with everyone then.
love

What a week! Last Friday my puppy starting shaking, losing her balance and having heaps of muscle twitches. I took her to the vet on Saturday and they suspected something was wrong with her brain. Urine and blood tests were done and all came back clear so she was taken to a specialist yesterday and had a CSF (brain fluid) tap. To cut a long story short, the fluid was clear which means there is no indication of brain inflammation and she can be treated with streroids and hopefully will be back to normal soon. Can I tell you that I have never ever felt so sick to the stomach, helpless and sad as I have over the last week or so. I cried and cried yesterday when I found out she was going to be ok. I'm not religious but I found myself praying to someone, anyone, and asking them to take everything I have to make sure she was ok. It was quite warm here yesterday so at one stage I was praying to the sun god!! I don't think I could handle having babies if I ever have to go through this again. So happy now though and I feel like Christmas has come early. I thought I would have missed out on heaps of news but it's really quiet in here - I hope that means everyone is well but busy buying presents ;) Off to give the pup a smooch and cuddle...
Hi Bee,
Sorry to hear your puppy was not well but am glad she's on the mend!! I know what you mean with the worry - I have 2 dogs, one which seems to always be in the wars! What sort of dog is she?
Hmmm must try the sun god next cycle...
Oh my, Bee ... that poor little thing. What an ordeal. I feel for you too as you know how much I loved Pusster. These little creatures become a part of your life and your family and you love them so it's very difficult to see them ill or in pain.
I'm so relieved to hear that everything worked out okay in the end though. I hope you have many more happy and healthy years together.
I notice it has been quiet in here of late. I'm sort of lurking around the forums myself so I know how it is. I know what I'm wishing for all of you for Christmas and the new year. Unfortunately it cannot be wrapped. Hope you are all well and will soon be enjoying a well-earned break.
Love,
Mel
Hi Ladies
