now we just have to pray that this emby survives the thaw!!!!
ring on Sunday to get tranfer time!
odette
Good luck for thaw, Odette. I think that's the one part of this whole thing that makes me most nervous.
BW
mee too
as its our last frostie- i will be glad when i get a time on Sunday for monday- means there is something to tranfer
fortunately only ever had one frostie out of the 7 we have had put back- not make it past thaw- so hopefully that was a once off and this one is a winner!
Lucky 7th cycle and lucky 3rd tranfer from this pick-up - hoping this is a good omen!!!
odette
wishing you all the best od - hope you have a nice relaxing day on the Tuesday after xx Gosh it has come around quick xx
sending happy positive thawing vibes OD! Our only thaw was a bust so I know if I have to go down that road again I will be anervous wreck.
Well we had our scan and i have 8 follies on the right ovary and four on the left...the left is being a it lazy this cycle. all are roughly 10mm so right on track for a pickup next friday. Will have another scan on weds and if it is all good trigger shot that night, pick up friday and hopefully if the PGD goes well on Monday we will have some embies to transfer back very late Monday afternoon.
mel, all sounding fantastic hun! can't believe after all your waiting you're finally so close!
Wow mel thats great news that your cycle is coming along for you
hey BG - not long now til you see FS, this week i believe - sending you all my wishes xx
It has been such a long time I know. But with work I just do not get time to catch up. Sorry!
Have been reading the posts, and I think it is time for some good news around here. Some lovely BFP's would be a nice christmas present.
Well I'm finally onto my very, very last roll of the dice. FET is set for the 7/12, if all goes well. Not feeling confident, but I suppose after ttc for almost 6 yrs does that to you.
Wishing all you wonderful girls get that magic BFP that we all dream about.
Promise I will try to catch up more, if I ever find the time.
Luv as always
Ann
PS I think I am slowly coming to terms with the fact *it will never happen for me*
Hi Ladies
Wow lots of transfers going to be going ahead soon! All the best Mel, BW, Odette & Ann. We could get a great run of BFP's for christmas!!
Loula good luck with the HRT :)
Well not much happening here CD 37 and a little annoyed at my body i am reading to start stimming the minute she rears her ugly head! Im getting a lot of cramping but she is just taking her own sweet time :)
Shannon
Ann,
I'm so glad you're doing an FET in Dec, matey. I know it's hard not to feel jaded, but it's a chance, no matter what. Will be keeping my eyes peeled for your progress reports. Hope you get a chance to catch us up every now and then. Good luck, my sweet.
Hi all!
Just posted in another thread but probably should have come here first!
Am doing a Clomid/FET, finished Clomid Friday, CD10 scan on Monday, last emby from this lot and DH yet to agree to another full stim next year, so the pressure is on!
Have achieved 2 pregnancies this year, both miscarried, so hoping for third time lucky :)
BW - so glad to hear you have started the next leg of this journey.... all the best matey :fingerscrossed:
Lou - all the best with the HRT - here's hoping it does help get things more sorted.
Odette - all the very best honey with your transfer on Monday - everything crossed for you!
Mel - those are pretty good numbers for follies and good sizes too... a pick up next Friday will be great too
Ann - honey, you know I wish dearly that you have success with this FET (hey 6 years was my lucky number, hope it has the same effect for you). Can completely understand your mind set though - it certainly gets hard and knowing what you've been through its completely normal...Let me hold out hope for you.
Im really impressed with all the action happening in here - surely we are bound to be able to kick some of you out after all this - so overdue for a big burst of graduates.
ok we have a tranfer time at 11.10am tommorow morning!
gonna ring up before we go in to check how its all going- so looks like a goer!!!
one step closer!
Woohoo Odette!!!!!!!
Will be sending up lots of sticky vibes for you!
wooooohooooo Odette - you're on the home straight now
all the best for tomorrow hunny!
Good luck, Odette! Stay strong, little embie!
I think I've just had a bit of a stupid moment... I've been doing my injections at 8:30 each night. Because we were going to be away from home last night, I took the vial of lucrin from my first cycle and used that, so the new vial wouldn't have to spend a heap of time out of the fridge. Tonight I finally actually checked the expiry date on the old lucrin vial... August 2007. :wall: All the other injections were done from the new vial, I'm sure one injection won't make a lot of difference, will it? There's 9 days between that one injection and my blood test to see if we can start stims. I was still on the pill for that one! I'm fairly confident that it will be ok in the end... but I've tossed that vial now! Won't be making that mistake again.
BW
oopsie! i'm sure it wouldn't make a difference at all hunny!
Odette - Congrats Good luck today! :)
BW - Im sure one wont make a difference they usually have a fair bit of extra time left on them anyway.
CD39 today and getting a little frustrated!
Shan
thinking of you today odette. GOOD LUCK and loads of sticky vibes hun!!
Sending out burrowing vibes for you odette!! Good Luck Today Hun!
all the best today odette, thinking of you!
Good luck today Odette! :) Lots of sticky vibes heading your way!
No news here, sitting here at home with bronchitis feeling sorry for myself!!
oh no Megan! hope it clears up soon for you hun!!
you guys are so sweet - it makes so much of a difference!!!
Well my little emby survived the thaw!!!!!!!
so i had it put back- although i was a bit worried as it was only 6 cells- but hey as long as it keeps on multiplying!!!!! My twins were 6 cells when they were put back and last time it was 12 cells- so i guess it doesn't make much of a difference
This little emby is defying the odds allready so grow little emby -grow!!!
Blood test is now the 19th- that is the next hurdle to get over!
Congrats on the transfer Odette, rest up (as much as you can with twins) and look after yourself! Snuggle in little emby! :)
Hi Everyone
Odette: Congrats on your transfer........fingers crossed darlink!!!!
Megan: You poor thing, like it is definetley somethingyou need on top of all this.
Can anyone clear something up for me???? We are just waiting for AF to arrive to do another transfer and my DH andI have decided to transfer 2 this time. Obviously there is more of a chance now that there are two but is there really? Can anyone share some stories with me or tell me something about all this...Im scared that I might be wasting an embie as we only have 3 left on ice!
Carla,
there is a thread that discusses the 1 vs 2 embryo debate here. HTH.
firstly congrats on your Tf od
well im now on the yucky HRT and will be having a scan on day 10 still no af and wont get one now til cycle is wither canciled, fails or in 9 months - hehe
forgot to add on a brighter note i got into uni
hi all
just thought i'd drop a quikc note - my long term waiting for things to happen has finally come to an end - had my counselling appointment today (waste of effort to be honest, considering i've been seeing a counsellor locally, but it's a must in vic), FS tomorrow to get the go ahead for IVF - and ivf coordinator/nurse on Monday - woooo hoooo!! it's finally happening!!
well dond BG..ypu finally have liftoff...hehe
Well I had my final scan today...8 follies on the right and 4 on the left all at 20mm...some smaller ones but probably not much chop. Had my trigger at 7pm and have to present for pickup bright and early at 7am friday morning. Given we have about an hour and half drive with peak hour traffic that means leaving here at about 5.30am....hmph...so not happy Jan on the one!!
woo hoo mel! it's all happening hunny - all the bestest wishes for Friday (and hoping traffic is nice and smooth for you!)
GOOD LUCK!
whoo to BG, Loula and Mel
sounds like it gonna be a happening end to the week
I say that we all get well and truly outta here before xmas
so who's in?????
odette
odette - i'm soooooooooooooo in!!
BFP's for everyone for Christmas - sounds like the bestest plan i've heard in ages!
Then I can close this place down! Lol! Wouldn't that be great? :)
sure would!
but then you'd have to stalk us elsewhere cos you KNOW you'll want to keep up to date with all our bubbas!
we almost need a "drop back in to give sushee updates" threads for all the long termers to keep you informed of how they're travelling once they have their bubba's in their arms!!
hey guys just wondering if any of you have had fsh injections, had six cycles of clomid, none of which made me ovulate. injections next step, how do they work?
We seem to be a busy bunch of people here!
Good luck with the FS tomorrow, BG.
Good luck with EPU on Friday, Mel.
Odette, how long until testing?
Lou, I notice you finally managed to change that ticker!
Ellie? Is everything ok? Haven't heard from you for a bit...
Me... still jabbing lucrin... AF finally decided to show today (just when I was starting to think she'd pass me by because it was only 10 days on the pill!), and I think I've given myself my first bruise for the cycle. Bound to get a few more with acupuncture tomorrow.
Good night, lovely ladies.
BW
Sounds like a plan BG! But I do also mod the forum many of you graduate to, you know. You never quite get rid of me. :)
Oh no! There's no escape from Sushee! :p Wouldn't have it any other way, really.
I know, I was going to bed... but I've got a dumb question... You can always tell that puregon is working from the bucket loads of EWCM (or is that just me and my hyperstimulation?), is there any way to tell if lucrin is actually working?
I'm just feeling a little paranoid after our first cycle and the failed attempt at synarel and the fact I'm on less lucrin this time...
Now, this time I'm really off to bed, and staying there!
