It's official - we've got a :bfp: .
HCG is 1228 on day cd34.
We can't believe it. We did this the "cut price way" as my DH said this morning. No assistance! We're in shock.
Thanks to everyone for your support - I'm hoping this is a sticker...

CONGRATULATIONS Karbent! I know that Im not a member of this forum thread but I often check in to pray that your journeys are soon to be blessed with little bundles of joy!
Karbent,
Congratulations that is wonderful news! Well done.
Sorry I have been MIA, renovations, and doing the big thinking thing.
Yes for those who asked I was on crinine gel. What the Dr's wee saying though was because I was on the verge of hyperstimulating my hormone levels, that was everything was skyhigh. My body simply couldn't keep up those levels, so they plummeted.
As the Dr's said, for a emby to take everything has to be perfect, and sadly my levels weren't. So trying again in September we have 9 grade 1 embies on ice.
Luv to all
Ann
congratulations Karbent
... fantastic news especially on your own 'twosome'
 :happyforyou:
Ann - sending you sticky vibes in advance for September.
Goodluck - Shazz :crossfingers:
Marg - how are you going ?
OMG Kar... that is so good honey, I am so happy for you and DH and I will pray that this little fella sticks like no tomorrow..(do you think it could be twins with that level?) make sure you pop in every now and then.. finally another grad!!!!!!
love leis xx
So Kar - tell me your secret - what did you guys do differently this time around?? Im dying to know!
Am SO VERY HAPPY for you sweetheart! Love to see you ladies leave from here!
Another one bites the dust!
Ann - that is very interesting what you said about your levels. I have always (except for the last FET) had extremely high levels and never considered that could be a reason for everything going badly.... hhhmmmm.... something to keep in mind I guess.
And great news about your NINE snowbubbas!
Excellent news Karbent
thanks everyone.
Ann - you're a star. NINE grade 1s. That is brilliant! And also interesting about your levels. Like Keen my levels were always borderline hyperstim - and they also tended to plummet. so your dr could definitely be on to something.
Keen - hoping this is your month too! Apart from seeing the pyschologist and doing timeline therapy and the kinesiologist the other things we did different this month were (a) DH had to NOT be a gentleman (he had to go first! which was not something he is comfortable with), (b) we did a followup BD at 7dpo to remind the embryo that Dad wasn't going anywhere (apparently his male pheromone helps implantation), (c) at O I changed vitamin supplements (from Roche elevit to Eagle natal plus) and started taking additional vit B6 in 2nd half of cycle, and (d) I took ponstan from day 9 dpo - three times a day - to stop any random prostaglandin attacks making my lining shed. Then I stopped taking it at Day 17 because I thought AF was coming and it didn't.
MargOz and Shazzid - how are you going?
very interesting Kar! hhmmmm...
Kar you legend! Congratulations!
Kar - that is the BEST news. I'm sooooooooooooooooooo excited for you! WOO HOO! :happyforyou:
Nothing to report here. I never thought I'd be wishing I'd be throwing up - but I'd give anything if MS had already taken hold! LOL! Actually feeling really good now that the lap has worn off but no signs pointing to either AF or BFP unfortunately. At this stage just waiting for Monday - BT day!
Marg
Kar!
Yippeeeeeee, Hooraaaaaaaaay, Woohoooooooooo!!!!!! :confetti:
So, so happy for you girl.
All that tough headwork must have played a part somewhere along the line.
Congratulations, I'm so excited for you.
Cheers
Congrats Kar, hey I noticed you did kinesology this time - what did that involve? I did that too for this one!!
Thought I would just duck in again.
DH is back at work after having 5 weeks off. Renovations completed, IVF cycle over and done with, so now on my own again.
Wondered if any of you had any thoughts on this one.
today I am CD 10, and yesterday had some "O" pain and this morning had some blood mucus (yes I know TMI). Is it to early to "O" on day 10, considering it is after a full stim cycle?
Also would like to add, that after my last transfer on the Fri arvo, I had blood tinged crinone gel every day from the Tue. So I would say that my levels dropped very suddenly from just after transfer, and here I was thinking it might have been implantation bleeding.
Luv Ann
Woohoo for you Kar, that is just soooo exciting. I love to here BFPs
Hoping there's more around the corner for Kaz & Marg
Hi to everyone else, I am still alive & checking in often.
Take care
Not really sure Kar. Its possible that you O on CD10, could be just your body adjusting to the big drop in levels.
Good to see you Tam.
Hi Ann
I've O'd on d11 before. Which was a bl**dy nuisance because I was doing an O tracking month that month and the first tracking ultrasound was d12! And my experience has been really short cycles after a stim cycle with a definite feeling that everything is out of sorts.
The good thing is that you now have 9 snobubbas and with FET this high hormone problem won't be an issue. On my last IVF my specialist said that the lining on stim cycles is always less than brilliant and that is the main reason they give progesterone.
They should give you prog support on your FETs though. And (hee hee) I now swear by additional Vit B6 for the luteal phase. There are several articles on my website about progesterone support particularly crinone if you're interested.
Magic - As well as general health balancing stuff, I did kinesiology on a whole stack of generational patterns spookily repeating themselves in both sides of my family. My kinesiologist made me start with a genogram and then after a few weeks we started documenting all the patterns that mirrored each other in both lines and generation after generation for the last 4 generations. (I've done a lot of genealogy so I had a lot of info on my ancestors). Astounding stuff centering around losing parents at young age, the unforgiveable sin of pregnancy out of wedlock etc etc turned up. At one horrible point I felt as if I had the curse of four generations on my shoulders. Thankfully I seem to have worked through it all now. What about you?
Kar
Congrat to your and your Dh I wish you all the best in the next nine months :happyforyou:
Keen
Good luck I hope this is your month also I will send you a lot of :stickyvibesboy:

Well not good news for me, af showed her head yesterday morning so cycle 7 a bust:bfn: . I only had 2 days to go, rung my nurse to bring my blood test forward but ended up cancelling it today just couldn't be bothered going to work or even getting dressed. So will go tomorrow and get it over with.

Ann
Shazz, big hugs for you. Take care of yourself.
Hope everyone is well. Marg hope Monday brings good news.
Take care.
Just want to add that we have booked our holiday to Singapore in August.
That gives me a few months for my body to have a break from meds, prodding, etc. Feels real good at the moment. I can almost forget I have any problems at all, times like this I almost feel like stopping altogether.....
was very tempted to poas this morning, but now glad i didnt as i absolutely feel that af is on her way.. oh well...
Tam - big WooHoo on your holiday sweetheart! - you should talk to Sush, she is heading over there too. Know what you mean about feeling llike stopping altogether. Lately I have had some peace with that thought... which s really strange for me because Im not one to be pesimistic or lose hope, or give up, but I dont really feel like it is giving up as such - more just dealing with what we have IYKWIM? But I know in my heart I cannot leave those 2 snowbubbies... so I have that to go and then I will see...
