    Hi Eevee

I think I remember being told at my last blast transfer that I had a 1 in 3 chance of falling pregnant - and I did !!!!! My little will be three months old tomorrow. I don't know if my age had anything to do with it I had just turned 41 a month before so might change (read improve) if you are younger ???

The best of luck will keep fingers crossed for you. It will be just the best Christmas present for you.

I'm 29, and for what ever reason, I had a 33% strike rate. 2 fails, and one success. I had a polyp found after the first fail, then since my BFP, they've found at least one fibriod. Both of these may have had an impact.

Each clinic should have it's own stats on successful transfers. Ask your FN or FS for your clinics stats.

    Best of luck. Xx

I've had one blast transferred & that blast is now a 19 month old little girl

From what I understand to get to blast they are the best possible embryos, they have to be perfect & have good energy within them to be able to grow to blast. Of all the stages of embryos that you can transfer, blasts will give you the absolute best chance at a pregnancy.

    Good luck

I think my FS said that each Blasty had about a 45% chance for a PG where as a day 3 has about a 20% chance for evey transfer... At the end of the day it took me 1 fresh transfer and 2 frozen blasts to get a BFP... 3rd time was a charm... Everyone is different and my clinic said average is 5 cycles.. Good luck and i hope things don't take too long for you...
IMO I liked the idea of Blasts better because by the time they reach day 5 the lab can tell if all genetic makeup is there for it to make a sucessful PG... I had one grow to day 5 but they discarded it because they could see that some of the genetic info was missing.... I started with 14 fertilised eggs and by day 5 only 4 were viable.. At least I knew that I only had to go through 4 transfers to see if I was PG instead of the 12 i still had at day 3 but we are all different in how we like to look at these things so do it how it suits you... All the best..

Thanks everyone for your replies, i guess there is no answer, everyone is just so different and there is no "real percentage"

    Good Luck everyone
