Hello,

I am feeling weird in the lady department. I just finished my period and Im getting ready for my HSG on the 4th of August. This is a test to check that everything is ok with my fallopian tubes and uterus.

I have just been feeling weird of late, it feels like Im going to have another period. Or that I have sensation of being full in the general tummy region. Im not sure. Im just a little worried and depressed that something is wrong with me and it could affect my ability to have a child even with IVF.

Has anyone else felt like this after a period? And there is absolutely NO chance I could be pregnant from my DH. His sperm don't swim. 100% dont swim.

I only just saw your post so apologies for not responding earlier.

You might be ovulating? Sometimes I feel like you describe mid-cycle, feel like AF is coming, bloating, and just 'different'. Could be too that you are just paying more attention to your body at the moment?

I'm sure everything is fine so please try not to worry too much. Good luck with your HSG on 4 August and good luck in your TTC journey, hoping you get your BFP soon.

In light of the suggestion you might be O'ing, I wanted to point out that you shouldn't have your HSG done after you O. They should be done after AF finishes but before O. The place I went to won't do them after CD10.

Other than that I don't have an answer for you question, sorry. I hope your TTC journey is short and sweet. GL with the IVF.

Hi thank you for your replies.

I have booked in for the 4th of August as it was THE only day I could get. As for my cycles and need to do it after AF and before O, Im irregular so I have to guess.

If I didnt take the 4th of August I would have had to wait till October to get an appointment. The last time I booked in on a day off work and my AF came so I had to cancel.

My boss isn't happy really happy Im taking a day off work for this test. But I have to, I need this test to be done. And our first try is in October so the HSG can't be done in October.
