Pregnyl, poas, BFPs, help a crazy lady please!!

Can anyone shed some light on when pregnyl 1500 is meant to leave your system, it is difficult to get an answer from Dr Google and I am going tww- crazy.

I have had 3 doses since a day2 transfer, 3 days apart. The last was Wednesday pm and I am currently 10dp2dt.

I started poas on Thursday to see when the pregnyl left my system but all my lines since have been the same strength, todays may have been slightly lighter but not by much.

Someone told me it takes 7 days to leave your system but other people have said 3 days. I have been getting some symptoms but understand they are related to the pregnyl.

I don't want to get my hopes up unneccessarily, ( I am anyway of course), but I also know false positives are common with this drug.

    HELP!!

    hi saffy,

that tww really messes with your chi doesnt it?! i dont think i can help you unfortunately, the past 2 times ive used pregnyl i have only been on a 500 dose (im small & have over-stimmed before), but if im remembering correctly the nurses said that the 500 dose would be out of my system within a couple of days. so for a 1,500 - maybe around 4 days? im just guessing here... hoping someone will pop in for some more recent/accurate info to put your mind at ease. fingers crossed its not the pregnyl though...

Saff. Don't test. Have you seen the album in my profile? It was all pregnyl. Right until the day of the BT. I got a HCG reading of 5.

    Don't do it to yourself...

Too late! OK will go look, and presume its pregnyl, its ok I knew that was most likely the reason. xx

Gosh your photo album is impressive!! I won't test now til Wed as I am on night shift and only have 1 test left.
N2L- you know the desire to poas is overwhelming in the tww- don't blame me, its the hormones!!!

I was on the same regime as you Saffy and stupidly POAS too when I was 9DPO. Got a light positive and put it down to the pregnyl. Did tests the next two days and got the same strength line, if not lighter, so was convinced it was just the drug. Turns out I was pregnant, with a pregnancy that had enormous hcg numbers even factoring in the pregnyl I continued to have until 13 weeks, but those early POAS days were pretty much just the pregnyl.

Good luck. I hope its the real thing for you. I won't say don't POAS cos I know it wouldn't matter how many times I got miserable results I still did it. Bit masochistic really but impossible to resist.

Ditto the "don't test" above. You'll only do your head in. I know it's hard waiting, but the best option really is to wait for the b/t.

It's a great form of luteal support, but it's also a very effective torture device for the poas-holics among us.

FX the b/t brings good news for you.
