Can anyone recommend an acupuncturist in Perth (central ideally, but have wheels and will travel) for fertility work? I hope to be having my first FET next cycle. I am having a laparoscopy next week, but hopefully will be given the all clear afterwards to get cracking with these little frosties (I have been getting twitchier every day they are on ice).
I have read recently about improved conception rates with acupuncture, but figure a recommendation would be better than the yellow pages!
I can recommend a really good one in Melbourne! Sorry I can't really help you but I really hope you can find one that's really good in your area. I have also heard some really good feed back about AP and IVF, so it's definitely worth a try.
I hope your lap went well, and you've got the go agead with the cycle.
Wishing you much success in your FET hun! And lots and lots of baby dust and sticky vibes too!
Beata70 sadly the lap was cancelled b/c my FS broke her arm the day before! The soonest they could rebook me was Aug 10th, so I have decided to go ahead with a FET anyhow this cycle...hopefully she wont argue with me I just cant wait any longer .....
Devon, I dont know how to pm, but I will look up nedlands natural health, thanks for the tip
drbee, bugger about having to re schedule your lap! That would annoy me too, I don't think I would want to wait until August! All the best wit your FET hun, I really hope it's a successful one .
Thanks again, I have called and left a message (yesterday) for GB at nedlands natural heath. He hasnt called me back yet but hopefully will do so tomorrow. I have my first blood test on saturday for the FET, so crossed fingers
Oops, missed this thread til now I go to Tony Morrell of the Natural Health Clinic on Albany Hwy in Vic Park. He's great - I went from yearly to monthly AF visits in 6 weeks with him!
Quick update....went to see Geoff today. I really liked him, although the acupuncture wasn't as pain-free as I had been led to believe!
I dont have great expectations, but I DO have to say that I have come out with renewed optimism (as distinct from being somewhat resigned) if that makes sense?
what will be, will be, but at least this way I feel as though I am doing SOMETHING good for myself and my embie!
