Assisted Reproductive Treatment Bill now being proclaimed in Sep09?

I've just noticed an update on the Monash IVF website re the police check and child protection orders.

It says (as at 18May09) that the bill will now be proclaimed sometime in September 2009.
Has anyone heard anything else about this new date?

I don't know any more than you Josam. I read it had to be proclamed before 2010 so sounds right unfortunately. I presume the clinics want anyone likely to be doing a cycle around that time to ensure they have their checks done JIC.
