Has anyone tried this for LTTTC/PCOS? I overheard someone talking about it the other day, and it was like a lightbulb went on for me. I know my testosterone levels have gone up with my weight, judging by increased frequency of mustache removal So I'm wondering if an estroegen cream would help with the hormone levels, and subsequently fertility?
Please don't be offended by this, but I have been reading heaps about estrogen over the past few days and if you are overweight (like me) your body is more than likely producing way too much estrogen, even with PCOS.
You'd have to get your hormone levels tested. Usually with pcos it's not a lack of estrogen it's more that you have that PLUS the increased androgens. You could speak to an endocrinologist about an androgen inhibitor, but a responsible one won't even entertain the idea until you have confirmed you won't have (any more) children and have pity much taken permanent steps to prevent it. If you happened to all pregnant while taking the drugs, it would be deadly for a male foetus. And even then it's only dealing with one aspect/side efftct of the pcos. (Can you tell I made enquiries while ttc?).
Estrogen creams tend to be aimed more at menopausal women who are no longer producing estrogen at the right levels....
