good luck Lynn, fingers grossed for you
Hi l've just joined this site... so l'm trying to work my away around and communicate with others on this site.
I've just gone through the IVF and l'm in my two weeks waiting period to see if my pregnant...
I'm wanting to know if anyone one has had any signs leading up to the test (ie. bleeding/discharge before the test) and what does this mean ??? has anyone had these symptoms... in need of help ! with some answers if possible
Lynn - getting past that 11dpo milestone is huge - and i'm so happy for you that it's happened! hoping tuesday is the day you get your BFP! (you too missy!!)
well, had my second and last booster shot this morning, and it was the first injection that actually hurt! i think that, with everything that's been happening, i was a lot more tense than i have been, so it hurt going in, but no bleeding and no bruise so far, so i'm not too stressed - just counting down the days til i can test!
went to have a nana nap before while DH was outside - he came inside to check on me and ended up climbing into bed with me - everything actually happened the way it was supposed to (no pain and no tears - woo hoo!!) - and even managed to go almost two hours without running to the loo! yay for little victories!!
has it really been only 8 days? feels more like 8 weeks...
hi anyone like to chat....
I'm having my two week test tomorrow and wanted to find out some warning signs leading up to the test - if its going to come back negative ???
hi babyface - and welcome to BB (and the horrid tww)
it's hard to say what symptoms you might notice (everyone is very different). the things most common that i've noticed from other threads are:
sore bb's
AF type pain - but no AF
queasiness
feeling bloated
some people who've had positive results have mentioned a small bleed when their embie has implanted (which would have been a few days ago for you if it happened)
are you going to do a home test before your blood test (or have you done one already?)
WooHoo for you bg! Celebrate every little victory - they get you through the day :)
Just think, it is less than a week now until you can test!
i know Lynn - and normally "less than a week" would seem like no time at all - but at the moment, it seems soooooooooooooo long! i'm just over it - seriously wondering whether i can sleep through the next week....
DH is giving me grief at the moment - he's going to watch the footy with friends up the road - and i said i didn't want to go - so i'm being antisocial!! would be my luck i'd go up there and end up spending the whole game running back and forth to the loo - and that's gonna start a whole bunch of questions! plus they don't have comfy chairs - my couch is comfy...
hmmmmm, how many more excuses can i come up with??
only two more days lynn - how you feeling hun?
Wooohoo Lynn. you go girl....Im happy you have made it past 11 days. Awww we all might have good news at the end. How good would that be.
Hi Babyface. Just wondering when you had your ET. Have you had bleeding, well that could be a good sign in the sence that some ppl so spot when the embie implants. Welcome to the TWW hell too.
Oh BG you and I both had a nana nap today. Mine was only for about 45 mins but hey its better then nothing. Feeling ok at the moment but think cold might be coming back..
ITs also been 11 days since my ET. Hmmm I dont know if Im going to do the pg on tuesday. Im so scared of getting a BFN. Awwww what if it is...:(
How is everyone else going. Lynn, BG and I as you can see dont have much of a life we always on here......pmsl :cryinglaugh:
Oh by the way bg have fun running off to the loo all the time at the friends. lol....hehehe...
nah - dibbed out on the visiting factor - kicking back here in my comfy trackies with a blankie over me - lap top beside me watching harry potter - so much more entertaining than an AFL game - especially when you can't distract yourself with alcohol! the friends DH is going to visit are aware of us going through AC (kinda hard to not find out when you're having to do needles and stuff while they're visiting!) - and if i was there, she would be able to work out what's going on (they've got three kidlets and another frined who has been going through IVF for over 10 years...)
will be so much better to be at home where the loo's not far away and if i get tohave a nana nap (missed out on the one earlier) - well - who cares?!?! Brokeback Mountain is coming on pay after Harry Potter, so i'll probably watch that (have been way too slack to see it so far!)
Well Bg you have a nice time at home. Its nice when your at home by yourself and can relax and do nothing. I love that time by myself. Broke back thats not a bad movie. Just didnt like the sex scene. Hmmm two men that is....lol.
Wow your friend doing IVF for 10 yers. Thats so long the poor things. Do they have any kids at all???
nope - no success yet - just repeatedly putting themselves through it all - i KNOW that i'm not strong enough to continue for that period of time.
i know a lot of people have told them they should stop - i just think it's inspirational that they keep trying.
I know I couldnt go that long. Well not at my age now. How old are they??? The poor things. That must put some strain on there marriage. Maybe if I was say 21 and had to do it for 5 years I think I might be able to do that but it would be hard!!
honestly not sure of ages, but i'm guessing mid to late thirties...
i'm young enough that going for that period of tims wouldn't be too bad - but DH is older, and i don't want him having to go through this long term at his age.
plus age wise, yes, i'm fine - mentally - NO WAY
Yes that is true BG...I didnt really notice the gap between you and DH...awww your a youngy...You have heaps of time and if DH wants id go as long as it takes to get your bundle of joy!!:)
we had a really good chat before we started this journey - DH lost his dad at 15 and it's plagued him forevery - we've decided we'll go through AC til Dh is 45 - and after that, it's up to nature
that's still three more years... and if we're successful this time round, we'llprobably go back once or twice more...
Aww that is so good bg. You have lots of time. 3 years is a while. Im sure you wont need that time. It will happen way way before that. Like now...hehehhe..
bg - I can totally understand being antisocial. I'm the same.....for various reason :(
The closer I get to THE DAY I am getting so scared. I guess there is so much pressure! Haven't had any 'pressure' today so I'm not sure what that means. Not long know and I will know for sure! Hope you enjoyed your day on the lounge in your trackies - sounds good. I have to do the ironing tonight - what fun!
Missy - you must be near the same time as me. Is Wednesday 14dpo? When are you going to test?
