    First IUI cycle

    Hi guys

I am going in for my first IUI this month (probably around the 17th) and I want to know if there are any tips or suggestions or any advice that you can give me to help increase the chances of it working?
We have no issues, im ovulating perfectly now I am on clomid and DH is all fine too, its just a timing issue for us hence the reason for the IUI.
I just want to know if there is anything I can do to help it working, special foods or exercise or anything?

    Thanks

I don't know. I didn't do anything special & we had no success, so I am not a good example. I didn't want to take any herbs or anything on top of injecting etc.... b/c I was finding it all overwhelming anyway & didn't need addedd stresses. Have you popped into the AC threads? There might be some tips in there.

Have never done IUI, but am considering it. We have a timing problem as well and i was on clomid. Good luck, let us know how you go!

Im a bit like RhiChiCi, didnt do anything extra but it didnt work here either and we had no 'proven fertility issues'. Acupuncture is meant to be pretty good. During IVF cycles I did do acupuncture and saw a herbalist.

    Good luck for this cycle

Nope, 11 treatments and no take home baby we were debating what to do and I told DH I was pregnant, of course he thought Id completely lost the plot because no POAS tests would show that I was but sure enough DD was in there. So we have a miracle bubba after 5 years of IVF

    Hi there,

Our specialists always recommended the baby dance the night of our IUI. That way we also figure we can claim that it was our effort rather than the IUI that worked!! Unfortunately we never got our BFP though.

Good luck and hang in there!!
