Cramping just hours after embryo transfer?

    Hi all,

Has anyone experienced cramping very soon after embryo transfer? I have had a day five transfer (although only a compacted morula, not blasto....2 of them). Why would I be experiencing cramping 5 or 6 hours after transfer? Could it be the Crinone? I didn't experience cramping from the Crinone last time. I have a feeling AF is just around the corner. Last period was almost five weeks ago as I've been on a long stim cycle this time so AF might be desperate to make her appearance this month.

It could be the Crione sweetie it could also just be the uterus recating to the transfer try to rest and relax (I know that is easy for me to say )

Trust your body to be doing the right thing if you want to call the Clinic

So tiggerlinda, the uterus actually does react so soon sometimes? This is what I was wondering. It's not OHSS, as I have been feeling fine the last 3 or 4 days. I did feel a bit of a twinge with the embryo transfer this time, like the doctor sort of 'nicked' the side of the uterus or something like that. I did a session of acupuncture this afternoon which resulted in the abatement of the cramps (dull cramps) but now it's back.

It happened with my first transfer I felt like a shock my new FS said if it happened again just take it easy and give the uterus time to calm down
